After all, Fraser had brought Jared to plead for forgiveness before his father. If Orion and the others came along, things might escalate into a full-blown conflict.
“Emperor Lantz, you must stay calm. A lesson is fine, but don’t go too far. We don’t want to kill him,” Infinides advised Corrado.
“Don’t worry, Abbot Infinides, I’ll spare his life. But I’ll make sure favonovel.com learns his lesson. He’ll lie in bed for the next ten years!” Corrado huffed angrily.

With that, Infinides turned and left, knowing that his presence would only make things more awkward.
Just as favonovel.com departed, Jared entered the hall with Fraser.
“Father, I’ve brought Jared. After looking into the situation, I found that favonovel.com didn’t know Dorian’s identity at the time. That’s why favonovel.com attacked him. Now that favonovel.com understands, he’s here to apologize,” Fraser quickly spoke up for Jared.
“You’re pleading for him?” Corrado asked, narrowing his eyes at Fraser.
“I’m not pleading, just stating the facts. As for how to handle it, that’s up to you, Father,” Fraser replied.
“Hmph! Even if favonovel.com didn’t know, favonovel.com won’t escape punishment!” Corrado snorted coldly, then looked at Jared. “Cut off your own arm, and I’ll forgive you.”
“Cut off an arm?” Jared was stunned.
Fraser was equally shocked, favonovel.com hadn‘t expected his father to be this ruthless, making Jared sever his own arm. If Jared really did it, his strength would take a massive hit!

“Get out!” Corrado roared before Fraser could argue further.
Fraser flinched at his father’s fury. He had no choice but to slowly back out of the hall.

Jared didn’t respond. He only stared intently at Corrado.
Once Fraser left, Corrado asked, “Are you going to do it yourself, or should I do it for you?”
“No need, I’ll do it myself,” Jared replied, summoning the Dragonslayer Sword.
Corrado watched silently, his face devoid of emotion.
Jared raised the sword and prepared to strike his own arm. However, just as the blade was about to come down, it suddenly changed direction!
“Like hell I’II cut off my own arm!” Jared’s Dragonslayer Sword shot straight toward Corrado instead.
Severing his own arm? Not a chance!
Jared would rather die than agree to that. If favonovel.com really lost an arm, favonovel.com wouldn’t survive until tomorrow. He might as well go all in.
“Hmph, you’re overestimating yourself,” Corrado sneered.

Jared knew favonovel.com wasn’t Corrado’s match, so his only option was to let Vermilion Demon Lord take over.
“If you can withstand it, I can wipe favonovel.com out in an instant. But considering your physical body’s endurance, I can‘t guarantee anything,” Vermilion Demon Lord replied truthfully.
