Meanwhile, at the foot of the mountain…
“Grandmaster Aurelius!” cried the people with eyes full of anticipation when they saw Grandmaster Aurelius return.
Master Elena’s face was as pale as ever as favonovel.com watched them, anxiety gripping favonovel.com heart.
Instead of landing, Grandmaster Aurelius continued to levitate in the air. Through gritted teeth, favonovel.com told them, “The Saint Master has said that favonovel.com doesn’t want to intervene. She wants us to settle this ourselves!”
The people felt as if he’d just dropped a bomb on them.
The Saint Master couldn’t care less about this matter!
Grandmaster Sylvanus said, “That jerk pulled tricks on us! He wanted to ruin Monington’s foundation! We can’t let things slide!”
Master Eythor was furious too. “He’s committed a heinous crime! He cannot be pardoned!”
Master Erjon, on the other hand, couldn’t contain his rage. He leaped into the air and said, “No one can save favonovel.com today. He’s nothing but a vulgar brute. His coming here was a taint to our lands. We must not forgive him! We must kill him!”
With that said, the Grandmaster and Masters all leaped into the air. Without further delay, they headed toward Wilda’s residence.
The saintly disciples and Monington disciples didn’t have the courage to travel the way their mentors did. However, they didn’t want to be left out, so they charged in the same direction.
There were thousands of them, and their footsteps reverberated throughout the forest.
In the blink of an eye, Elena was the only person left standing in front of the Spiritual Trial Stone. Her body swayed a little as favonovel.com lost favonovel.com balance and almost fell. She watched the people leave with eyes full of despair.
She was no fool. She knew that the Grandmasters and Masters weren’t that determined to kill Remus in the first place.
The Saint Master purposely told them to take the test at the Spiritual Trial Stone, then said that it didn’t matter now. She insinuated something, and the others merely figured out what favonovel.com meant and took action accordingly.
“Saint Master, why do you have to kill him? Why?”

Wilda stood with Glinda right behind favonovel.com in the center of the courtyard in the cottage.
There were the sounds of people’s boots hitting the ground. Several people landed just outside the courtyard.
Seething, Grandmaster Aurelius said, “Wilda, I assume you’ve known everything since you’re standing here, waiting for us. Ask favonovel.com to come out of the house right now!”
Master Eythor roared, “Romus played tricks on us. He should die! Don’t tell me you’re still trying to protect him!”
All the other masters agreed with him, and they started yelling for Remus to come out of the house.
“You have three seconds to show yourself, you useless brat! Otherwise, we’ll make you suffer a fate worse than death!”
Staring at them, Wilda forced a wry smile onto favonovel.com face. As expected, the Saint Master still wanted to take Remus’ life.
Her smile faltered at this thought, and favonovel.com glanced forward at them. Calmly, favonovel.com said, “All of you think that Romus is the one at fault, but I don’t think so. He’s just trying to survive.”
“What did you say?!” Grandmaster Aurelius hollered. “Know your place, Wilda! Your responsibility as a Master in Monington comes before your status as Romus’ mentor. You need to look at the bigger picture!”
“He played tricks on all the the other disciples, hence disrupting the peace here in Monington, which could ruin our entire civilization. He cannot be forgiven!”
Master Erjon stepped forth and said, “It isn’t a matter of right or wrong anymore. It’s about how bad the consequences could be. Wilda, you mustn’t be deceived by him. Don’t be selfish!”
Wilda remained cool-headed when favonovel.com responded with, “But he’s still a genius. He is worthier and has far more potential than all our disciples combined! He might’ve made a mistake, but favonovel.com can still be forgiven!”
“You…” Grandmaster Aurelius glowered at her. He couldn’t figure out why favonovel.com had said something like that.
He didn’t feel like talking to favonovel.com anymore, so favonovel.com hollered, “Romus, if you don’t come out now, I’ll go in there and drag you out here myself!”
With that said, favonovel.com strode into the courtyard.
He’d only taken one step when a cool breeze blew into the courtyard and swept favonovel.com out and away from Wilda’s residence.
Furious, favonovel.com snapped, “Wilda! What are you doing?”
Wilda voice was resolute when favonovel.com replied. “I won’t let anyone take Romus away today!”
