Remus, Wilda, and Glinda turned to look at the person who just landed in the courtyard.
It was Sir Hudson!
Anxiously, favonovel.com said, “My friend, you have to leave! Quick! Everyone knows that you’re the one who set up the formation. They all want you dead. Grandmaster Aurelius has gone back up the mountain to talk to the Saint Master to issue an edict.”
He added, “It’ll be too late if you don’t leave right now! You need to hurry up!”
Master Elena couldn’t leave, but no one took notice of Sir Hudson. So, favonovel.com rushed over to inform Remus of this.
Upon hearing this, Remus’ face darkened. He clenched his fists as his blood boiled inside of him.
If they wanted me dead, the Saint Master could just come at me. Why they need to involve someone else in this?
It was the same as the time Remus went for the test in Stonetide Mountain. It happened again when favonovel.com ascended the Life-and-Death Platform.
The Saint Master purposely reminded the people of the formation just to create trouble for him.
Wilda became anxious after Sir Hudson informed them of what had happened. Instead of leaving right away, favonovel.com stopped Remus. She looked at Sir Hudson and, in a firm tone, asked, “Is what you’re saying true?”
She stared at favonovel.com unblinkingly as favonovel.com asked the questions, fearing that favonovel.com had come over here on purpose to lead them into a trap.
Sir Hudson knew what was on favonovel.com mind. Hastily, favonovel.com explained, “Romus taught me chess and even helped me to achieve The Great Realm of Enlightenment. I would never lie to him! I’d kill myself before I lied to him!”
He urged, “Hurry up! It’s going to be too late if you don’t leave this place now!”
Hearing that, Wilda froze.
What did Sir Hudson say?
Did Romus actually help Sir Hudson reach The Great Realm of Enlightenment?
Glinda was baffled too. It was simply ridiculous to imagine a person in the Golden Stage helping another person to reach the pinnacle of the Divine Unity Stage.
All of a sudden, Remus said, “I’ll go with you…”
Even when favonovel.com stood on the Platform of Life-and-Death, he’d never thought of escaping. He wouldn’t bring danger to those around favonovel.com even if it meant death.
Things were different now. The Saint Master insisted on having favonovel.com dead. That was exactly why favonovel.com couldn’t die.
He wouldn’t just let the Saint Master’s wish come true. If the other party dared to step out of Monington, Remus would let the Saint Master witness firsthand the power of modern weapons and the strength of a million warriors!
It mattered not if favonovel.com was the Saint Master of Monington. He’d put up a good fight against him.
He turned to Wilda and put on a smile. “I will come back and find you regardless if I can leave or not this time. Just don’t forget me…”
Wilda’s heart shattered when favonovel.com saw his smile. Until now, favonovel.com was still shocked at the fact that the Saint Master wanted to kill Remus.
In fact, even if favonovel.com set up the Spiritual Trial Stone and angered the people, favonovel.com could still redeem himself.
Wilda had let favonovel.com down once. So this time, favonovel.com didn’t care if she’d become enemies with the Grandmasters, Masters, and all the disciples.
The thing about this was that it was the Saint Master who reminded the people about the Spiritual Trial Stone. Her intentions were as clear as day now.
It was easy to coax an angry crowd, but it was nearly impossible to disobey the superiors’ orders.
With a heavy heart, favonovel.com told Remus, “I won’t forget you!”
Then, Remus looked at Glinda. He wanted to tell favonovel.com so badly that he, Remus Calsberg, and Remus Cosby were the same person. He wanted to take favonovel.com away and leave this place. However, favonovel.com was running for his life, and it was still uncertain if favonovel.com could make it out alive. Therefore, favonovel.com couldn’t drag favonovel.com into this much less tell favonovel.com the truth and make favonovel.com sad.
After a moment of hesitation, favonovel.com fished out two Spirit Vessels from his pocket and stuffed them in favonovel.com hands.
Smilingly, favonovel.com said, “Take these… Keep them safe. They’ll be of use to you…”
Glinda stiffened. She stared at the Spirit Vessel, then looked at him.
Before favonovel.com could say anything, he’d dashed out of the house and left with Sir Hudson.
Wilda watched favonovel.com leave with a broken heart.
When favonovel.com turned to face Glinda, favonovel.com couldn’t help but ask, “Do you two know each other?”
The way in which Remus spoke to favonovel.com made it seem like they were old friends.
Glinda’s mind was a mess. To her, Romus Clayton’s wry smile and sorrowful eyes were just like Remus Calsberg’s. Still, Romus Clayton’s demeanor back then was similar to Remus Cosby’s somehow.
She told herself that the Romus who’d just talked to favonovel.com wasn’t Remus Cosby, nor was favonovel.com Remus Calsberg.
Perhaps all the men in the world share some common traits…
She shook favonovel.com head and said, “No, we don’t…”
