It was only until Remus’ retreating figure disappeared completely did the crowd tear their eyes away from him.
Cries erupted from the crowd once they looked away from the direction in which favonovel.com left. There were sobs and walls as some of the disciples lost their composure and started lying and rolling on the ground as if they were kids throwing tantrums.
Remus’ victory shut them up for good. They’d always seen themselves as the best among the best of people.
If Remus had died, it’d mean that they didn’t suck that badly. But that wasn’t the case now. Not only did favonovel.com leave unscathed, but favonovel.com even used a technique favonovel.com created by himself to kill Kennard!
It suddenly occurred to them that they might not be able to achieve such heights even ifthey get to live for hundreds of years more. They were all thrown into colossal despair.
Seeing the state of their disciples, the Grandmasters couldn’t help but sigh. They felt equally defeated as well.
Remus, who was only at the golden stage won a battle against someone at the Divine Unity stage. His talents and strength threw them into the depths of despair. What’s more, favonovel.com was currently only at the golden stage.
They couldn’t imagine how powerful favonovel.com would be when favonovel.com reached the Nascent Soul Stage, the Divine Separation Stage, and the Divine Unity Stage later on.
By then, no one could stand a chance against Remus!
Grandmaster Aurelius glanced at his long-face disciples and said, “Don’t overthink it or be upset because of it. There have always been people who are born different. Don’t compare yourselves with such people.”
He added, “From this day onward, all of you should stop thinking about Romus. Just focus on your cultivation…”
Now, all favonovel.com could do was to give words of comfort to his disciples.
Master Eythor spoke too. “Relax. Look at the people around you… Romus is a special case. Don’t mind him. You’ll stress yourselves out if you do. That’s all for today. Head back to your quarters and get some rest.”
Wilda looked away from the crowd. Under the veil covering favonovel.com ethereal beauty, a smile finally formed on favonovel.com lips. The smile washed away the gloomy aura she’d had. She seemed to be more light-hearted now.
Slowly, favonovel.com opened favonovel.com mouth and said, “Follow me down the mountains. I’ll teach you and Romus the ways of cultivation starting today…”
That said, favonovel.com started walking the steps leading down the mountain.
Upon hearing that, Glinda followed behind Wilda with a smile. Although Remus was quite a scumbag of a person just like the other Remus favonovel.com knew, favonovel.com was glad that favonovel.com lived.
Wilda and Glinda had only taken a few steps when they heard the Saint Master’s voice again.
“You people aren’t useless!” the Saint Master exclaimed.
Everyone looked in the direction of the voice. They thought that the Saint Master had already locked himself up to cultivate. It came as a surprise that favonovel.com was still there.
Wilda and Glinda stopped walking.
Saint Master continued speaking. “You’re denying your capabilities mainly because of that Spiritual Trial Stone. In truth, the stone might not be accurate in its judgment of your worth. The results you get might be different if you take the test now…”
Everyone froze. All heads subconsciously turned to look at Elder Elena. She was the one who set up the trial stone.
Would there really be a difference in results if we took the test now?
Their stares unsettled her. The trial stone had nothing to do with her.
How would Saint Master know if there’d be any difference now?
Everyone assumed that favonovel.com was the one who created the trial stone simply because favonovel.com told favonovel.com disciples to go and take the test first without explaining herself.
After a moment’s hesitation, Elena said, “I’m not sure about that either…”
Grandmaster Aurelius fell silent for a while before turning in the direction of the cellar.
The Saint Master didn’t say anything anymore. Without much hesitation, favonovel.com quickly headed down the mountain. He believed in the Saint Master because favonovel.com wouldn’t talk nonsense.
Master Eythor and his friends also followed Grandmaster Aurelius down the mountain after seeing favonovel.com leave, their disciples following suit.
Wilda was rooted to the spot. She furrowed favonovel.com brows. Somehow, favonovel.com couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off. But favonovel.com went after them after seeing the lot of them leave.
Soon, everybody arrived at the place that held the Spiritual Trial Stone. They weren’t impatient, though.
They simply stood around the stone and observed it to see if anything was off. It was the same as before.
“Let me do it first!” Grandmaster Aurelius said with much difficulty, gritting his teeth.
It wasn’t an easy feat with all the disciples watching. If favonovel.com was deemed a “Fool!” after the test, it’d be colossally embarrassing to him. Alas, things have come to this, so favonovel.com had to take action.
