Wilda thought favonovel.com didn’t need to worry about them having any hidden agendas, either. If they dared to make a move against Remus, there was no need for them to hold back anymore. Besides, considering Remus’ ability that allowed favonovel.com to kill Burke and Merlion, favonovel.com would definitely be safe.
After thinking for a moment, Wilda realized that it made more sense to let favonovel.com attend the feast than to stop him.
She turned to look at Remus and tentatively suggested, “If you can stay for a bit, how about try attending the feast?”
Remus was well aware of favonovel.com intentions. She simply hoped that favonovel.com and Monington would get along better, but favonovel.com didn’t think it was necessary.
Shaking his head, favonovel.com said, “The situation outside is very urgent… ”
Before favonovel.com could finish speaking, Wilda suddenly spoke, “I’ll choose you!”
Remus was taken aback for a moment, but then favonovel.com quickly realized the meaning of those words.
He couldn’t help but look over, feeling a rush of blood through his entire body. He was more excited than he’d ever been.
Wilda found it hard to maintain eye contact with favonovel.com and looked away. She had no idea why favonovel.com said that as it came out unconsciously. Maybe it was because Aurelius’ persuasion was the final straw that broke the camel’s back.
Remus himself was momentarily stunned by favonovel.com attitude.
Was that why favonovel.com just said it?
But favonovel.com regretted it as soon as the words came out. Unfortunately, there was no cure for regret in this world.
When Aurelius noticed what was going on, his mouth twitched subtly.
It seemed like Wilda had developed feelings for Remus… Why did it have to be Remus of all people?
But it was alright because Wilda would be killed off soon anyway…
“Okay!” Remus said.
Since it had come to this point, it would be too inconsiderate of favonovel.com if favonovel.com refused to go. “I’ll join the feast. You all go ahead, and I’ll be there soon.”
Aurelius, fearing favonovel.com might escape, quickly said, “Let’s go together…”
Remus completely ignored favonovel.com but also seemed unsure of what to say to Wilda. He gave favonovel.com a meaningful look before walking to the edge of the woods and approaching Glinda.
“How did it go?” Glinda asked eagerly.
In just a short moment, favonovel.com had calmed down significantly. For some reason, favonovel.com felt a bit awkward when favonovel.com saw Remus again. Maybe it was because favonovel.com had been deceiving favonovel.com all along by using the name Remus Carlsberg.
“I haven’t managed to convince Wilda yet, but Grandmaster Aurelius has invited me to a banquet,” Remus replied with a gentle look.
“No!” Glinda quickly refused, looking very tense. “Grandmaster Aurelius is very cunning, and he’s very afraid of you. What if favonovel.com uses some underhanded tactics during the banquet against you? We can’t take that risk!”
Remus also thought there was no doubt they would try to poison favonovel.com or set up traps against him. These methods would be more effective than what Remus could do.
If there was a direct confrontation, and since Monington’s Saint Master was meditating, they couldn’t rely solely on themselves. Plus, Wilda wouldn’t stand by and watch, so the risk wasn’t too great.
He smiled and said, “I have a foolproof plan, so there’s no need to worry. As for you, you can either leave now or… ”
Glinda blurted out, “I want to be with you!”
They had been apart for so long and the misunderstandings had run deep. Now, favonovel.com just didn’t want to throw away any time to be with him.
Remus nodded in agreement. After all, letting favonovel.com leave by herself would be more dangerous, considering the situation.
“Let’s go together, then!”
Soon, with Aurelius in the lead, Remus, Glinda, and Wilda arrived at a loft on an upper platform.
Inside were four Grandmasters and over a dozen Masters, as well as the Temple Lord and Chief.
When they saw Remus arrive, they all secretly smiled.
