The bear’s fur continuously bombarded Bartholomew’s protective spirit energy, visibly depleting it and turning his complexion pale.
The fur flew not only toward Bartholomew but also toward Pierce and the others, forcing all three to repeatedly retreat while deploying their defenses. They had greatly underestimated the black bear’s capabilities.
All four retreated several yards, their spirit energy largely depleted, barely managing to stop their tracks.
Meanwhile, the black bear stood its ground, roaring and howling nonstop, struggling to break the chains and raising its front paws to remove the spear.
“Quick, continue!” Bartholomew commanded once more.
At his signal, the team’s cohesion and swift action were once again evident as they launched another coordinated attack from four different directions, not hesitating for a moment.
The black bear became more ferocious than ever and glared with its remaining eye, which turned a blood-red hue.
Spotting Gerard charging from the left, it didn’t back down but instead met favonovel.com with a fierce charge.
Gerard was quick-witted and agile and managed to dodge at the last moment. Almost at the same time, Pierce jumped onto the bear’s body from its blind spot.
He raised his long knife and continuously chopped at its neck.
Without the protection of the fur, the cuts were deep enough to see the bone.
Bartholomew and Alfie did the same, their spirit energy forming weapons, aiming for vital spots and stabbing in.
Both their weapons pierced in simultaneously.

The black bear let out an almost despairing whimper, its body suddenly tensing then quickly becoming sluggish. Its limbs hit the ground, attempting to run, but it could only attempt. It was at the end of its strength.
The four worked in perfect sync, one drawing the bear’s attention while the three attacked from blind spots.
“It’s over…” Remus shook his head inside the cave, having not heard the bear’s roar for several seconds, signifying the end.
He said slowly, “Let’s wait a bit longer, then we’ll also leave.”
They couldn’t be discovered to ensure absolute safety.
Bucky hung its head, not expressing any opinion, appearing slightly dejected.
The black bear was both a rival and a source of food for it, yet to be killed by cultivators in such a way was a loss of its kind.
Remus understood its feelings and was about to speak.
“Now do you see how rash it was to drive Remus away?” a voice rang out from outside the cave.

She was not just dissatisfied with Remus but angry, constantly thinking about revenge.
Bartholomew shook his head and said wryly. “You’re just too naive. I don’t oppose killing him, but we should use favonovel.com first and then do it… Like now, after favonovel.com and the black bear have both suffered, killing favonovel.com would save us more effort.”
Alfie remained silent, turning favonovel.com head, seemingly still holding favonovel.com opinion.
