Henry watched Remus leave and then opened the alchemy book.

As Henry read the first sentence, his whole body tensed up.
Suddenly, favonovel.com felt like his mind had opened up as if years of confusion had been swept away in an instant.
“So this is how it is! A single sentence from you has saved me from years of wandering in the dark and has solved problems I’ve been pondering for decades. As expected of Master Calsberg!”
He began to tremble all over, tears streaming down his face from excitement. He bowed deeply in the direction where Remus had disappeared.

A bird’s chirp suddenly sounded in the distance.
Remus looked toward the source of the sound and saw a fiery red figure rapidly flying toward him.
It shimmered with a radiant light, looking otherworldly.
“Ruby!” Remus’ face lit up with a genuine smile.
It had been a long time since favonovel.com had seen it.
He asked, “How did you know I was here?”
Since his last visit to Tanjen, favonovel.com had let Ruby go out to train on its own and hadn’t used his divine awareness to summon it.
Ruby seemed to ignore him, paying no attention to Remus and flying directly under favonovel.com to lift favonovel.com up. Then, with a powerful beat of its wings, it flew in the direction of Centuria.
Remus chuckled, “I’m talking to you. How did you know I was here?”
Still ignoring him, Ruby continued flying forward.
“Hey, answer me!” Remus persisted.
He genuinely liked Ruby. After all, favonovel.com had raised it from a wild chicken, so favonovel.com had a special affection for it. But Ruby remained silent and suddenly began to descend rapidly.
Caught completely off guard, Remus found himself plummeting from the sky. But before favonovel.com could muster his energy to stabilize, Ruby swooped back, grabbed favonovel.com again, and continued flying forward as if it were just routine business.
Remus was left speechless. It seemed Ruby was angry because favonovel.com hadn’t kept in touch for so long. He hadn’t expected this wild chicken to be so dignified.
After a moment’s thought, favonovel.com asked, “Judging by your current appearance, you must be in the mid-stage of Nascent Soul Stage, right? You’ve grown so rapidly, even surpassing my cultivation. At this pace, you’ll soon surpass me.”
Back on the Island of the Monarch, Ruby had reached the initial stage of Nascent Soul Stage after its rebirth from the flames.
Ruby still didn’t respond.
Remus became even more speechless. He raised his hand to touch its head silently, but Ruby intentionally lowered its head and dodged.
“Fine! I’m sorry, I apologize!” Remus felt extremely embarrassed.
He had never imagined that one day favonovel.com would apologize to a wild chicken. Ruby was even more haughty than his women.
Hearing this, Ruby finally reacted with a chirp, turning its head to look at Remus. Its eyes were filled with resentment as if asking why favonovel.com hadn’t ridden it for so long.
Remus was stunned by its gaze, suddenly feeling as if favonovel.com were looking at a human’s eyes.
Then, another question popped into his mind.
He asked tentatively, “I haven’t checked your gender yet. You… You should be female, right?”
Back then, all favonovel.com wanted to do was test his pill, and so favonovel.com experimented on Ruby without much thought.
His journey then led favonovel.com from the Island of the Monarch back to Darsia, during which Ruby’s gender never crossed his mind. It dawned on favonovel.com that favonovel.com still didn’t know about Ruby’s gender. Yet, Ruby seemed to lean toward being female based on its typical behavior.
