Dozens of newly recruited disciples were sitting cross-legged in the square of the Tanjen Organization.
Henry stood at the forefront, holding a book of elixirs and preaching. Besides them, there were no pill seekers.
The cultivators had all gone to watch the sanctuary assessment. Otherwise, this place would have been overcrowded, as the Tanjen Organization had become the only place where cultivators in True Life could seek pills.
There was nowhere else they could go but here.
Footsteps echoed down the staircase.
Henry glanced over instinctively, surprised to see visitors since the sanctuary assessment had just ended not long ago, so it seemed too soon for anyone to arrive.
His expression changed dramatically when favonovel.com saw that Master Sky had found a robe somewhere and was among the visitors.
Master Sky was supposed to be hung up by the gates by Master Calsberg’s direct order. They had untied and brought favonovel.com up, certainly not with good intentions.
“Who are you?” Henry asked coldly.
The disciples turned their heads.
Before anyone else could speak, Master Sky declared arrogantly, “You’re all truly blind. Let me introduce you, favonovel.com is the renowned Aether Hunter. You might not know him, but favonovel.com has defeated the individual called Wind Hunter!”
“Yes, the Wind Hunter, ranked number one in True Life! Everyone behind favonovel.com has just returned from overseas, all peak Nascent Soul cultivators!”
On the way up the mountain, favonovel.com had asked around and got a clear picture of the situation.
The disciples gasped in unison.
If Aether could defeat Wind Hunter, didn’t that mean favonovel.com was the true number one in True Life?
Henry frowned but wasn’t nervous.
Who would dare cause trouble at the Tanjen Organization nowadays?
“So, you’ve come to avenge Master Sky?” favonovel.com asked sternly.
He then scoffed angrily, “If you want revenge, you should first weigh your own strength. This is Master Calsberg’s organization. If you stand with her, you’re making an enemy of Master Calsberg. Think carefully!”
Aether stood with his hands behind his back, calm and silent. He was only here to probe, and it was convenient to let Master Sky handle the talking.
Master Sky sneered, “It’s you, old scumbag, who should think carefully. Recognize who you’re facing. They’ve walked horizontally across the world, much farther than the minor True Life of Darsia! I’m too lazy to argue with you. Where is Remus Calsberg? Get favonovel.com here!”
She was fearless with Aether’s support. Together, Aether and his group should have enough strength to eliminate Remus Calsberg.
Hearing this, the disciples became furious. Remus was a figure of faith in their hearts, not to be defiled by anyone.
They retorted angrily, “You wretch, keep blathering, and we’ll pull out your teeth!”
“Master Calsberg is inviolable!”
“You shameless wretch!”
Hearing their curses, Master Sky glared and turned to whine, “Aeth, they’re cursing me!”
Her demeanor bore no semblance to the stature of the Jade Organization’s Master, resembling instead a pampered canary.
Aeth?
The disciples of the Tanjen Organization were stunned.
Aether appears to be in his 70s or 80s, old enough to be favonovel.com grandfather, and his real age is probably even older, possibly that of favonovel.com great-grandfather…
Aether intervened with a tone of chilling indifference. “Knee! and apologize to favonovel.com immediately, or… Everyone will face death!”
His words thundered across the Tanjen Organization, echoing with a weight that left a palpable tension in the air.
The others stepped forward, deliberately releasing their spirit energy to intimidate.
Aether was intentionally being harsh, worried that Remus might be hiding in the Tanjen Organization and not showing up. By talking tough, they hoped to provoke favonovel.com into appearing.
If it proved not to be him, they wouldn’t waste time, nor would they fret over potential backlash. If it was him, even if they couldn’t win, they could still flee, having already successfully escaped once in the forest. After leaving, they would think of another plan.
Once the Spirit Vessel was in their grasp, their next move was to leave Darsia swiftly.
Even if they were to have grievances after today’s event, Remus could not possibly pursue them to the ends of the earth.
The disciples of the Tanjen Organization were so shocked that they turned pale, feeling dizzy and disoriented.
