With those words, the venue fell into silence once more, the atmosphere oppressively tense, with only the sound of slaps following one after another.

“Stop!” Zaiden couldn’t help but speak up, his face as red as if it was bleeding.

Garfield and the other two also clenched their teeth.

He roared, “This entry assessment into the sacred realm isn’t something you can just participate in or give up on a whim! For millennia, it has been the sacred land that turns away seekers, never the other way around. No one has ever abandoned the assessment mid-way!
“Today, your desires aside, your participation is a must!”
Garfield also said coldly, “How dare a nobody like you give up?”
The crowd once again turned their gazes toward Remus. But their looks became strange as many started showing admiration.
