They had made up their minds.
The crowd outside the curse nodded, finding this approach seemingly unreasonable yet very logical.
Zaiden and the other three Masters just watched indifferently.
Xavier mocked, “Do you believe your abilities are enough to sow discord? You’re hardly worth the effort.”
Remus, as a cultivator in the late Golden Stage, lacked the power to make anyone believe his words, no matter how eloquent they might be.
Remus’ expression darkened instantly, and favonovel.com said sternly, “This is your last chance. Do you really have to target Windsor? Just answer, yes or no!”
His last sentence was spoken in a low voice, with a clear hint of threat. Several people frowned simultaneously, including Xavier and Don, who felt uncomfortable being questioned so sternly.
The crowd was also surprised.

Remus offered a faint smile and remarked, “What influence can someone like me have? I’m just a late Golden Stage cultivator. Since I cannot stop you, feel free to engage in combat…”

Don and the others also regained their senses and immediately released their spirit energy.
The two sides engaged in battle immediately, with bursts of spirit energies surging out explosively in all directions.
Dealing with them would have been a straightforward task for Windsor had favonovel.com been at his peak. However, after yesterday’s confrontation with over a dozen Nascent Soul stage cultivators and another battle against dozens of Nascent Soul stage cultivators just recently, favonovel.com was already injured, and his strength had significantly waned.
It was an evenly matched battle now.
Remus saw them engage in battle and quickly moved to the side, sitting on a hill to watch the show.

Hearing the various discussions, Zaiden and the other three looked displeased.
The assessment was meant to select capable cultivators to be the reserve power of the sacred lands, and they had to be prodigies.
While it’s acceptable to be clever, Remus had crossed into cunning territory. Allowing someone like favonovel.com into the sacred lands would be a disgrace, but there was no way to stop it.
