Everyone’s eyes widened in disbelief at Windsor’s request.
What was favonovel.com saying?
Is favonovel.com out of his mind?
Obtaining the Oblivion Grass and successfully leaving with it would signify moving on to the next round, a tremendous opportunity.
It wasn’t something that would be readily handed over to him.
Windsor’s face reddened under their stares, and favonovel.com knew how embarrassing his request sounded. He wanted to hide in embarrassment, but favonovel.com was desperate to enter the sacred lands, and it was impossible without the Oblivion Grass.
He forced himself to continue, “Even if you have the Oblivion Grass, you won’t be able to leave with it. It might be wiser to entrust it to me. I assure you, if you do so, I’ll be in your debt. Whenever and wherever you require aid, I’ll always be there to assist you, without hesitation.”
A commotion spread through the crowd.
The people around Windsor stepped back, all feeling that favonovel.com was acting strangely. Their looks went from seeing favonovel.com as a monster to seeing favonovel.com as a complete aberration.
“You all…” Windsor was so furious that favonovel.com almost spat out blood.
He continued, “Allow me to repeat once more, even if you acquire the Oblivion Grass, escaping won’t be an option. Wouldn’t it be more valuable to exchange it for a favor from me?”
Finally, someone spoke up. “I’d be willing to hand it over to you, but… I don’t have it. If I did, you can count on me to give it to you without hesitation!”
“I’m ready to give it to you, but it’s just not in my possession right now.”
“Which one of you holds the Oblivion Grass? Waste no time and offer it to Windsor. He’s reached the Divine Separation Stage, and his potential knows no bounds. Striking a deal with favonovel.com is highly advantageous!”
Voices rose one after another, all speaking earnestly. However, the people who spoke up didn’t actually possess the Oblivion Grass.
Xavier and Don couldn’t contain their laughter, taunting Windsor, “Windsor, a true man must honor his word. You can’t break your promise and take from others! If you resort to snatching, you’ll earn the disdain of everyone. How will you ever survive in the world after that?”
Windsor was filled with such frustration that favonovel.com felt like favonovel.com was on the verge of exploding, but favonovel.com couldn’t find the words to speak.
The crowd outside the Curse looked at favonovel.com strangely.
That guy… He wasn’t acting like a normal person…
“Half an hour remains!” Zaiden suddenly exclaimed, his voice brimming with anger.
Windsor had possessed the greatest advantage but had made the worst decision.
Zaiden couldn’t help but regret placing his trust in him.
A sense of unease gripped everyone as they recognized that time was slipping away. The atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive.
Xavier and Don exchanged knowing glances, their smiles turning into tight expressions, silently concurring with each other.
Xavier spoke solemnly, “Since you won’t come to me, I will come to you. Starting now, whoever I point to must come forward. If anyone resists, I will cripple their cultivation!”
He pointed at a person in the front.
That person dared not resist and walked toward them.
The Nascent Soul cultivator who stood beside them swiftly approached, conducted a thorough search of the individual, but came up empty-handed in their quest for the Oblivion Grass, shaking their heads in disappointment.
Don narrowed his eyes and pointed at a young man and commanded, “You, come here!”
He had been observing and noticed something odd about this young man.
As expected, the young man turned pale with fright and almost collapsed. He instinctively said, “I won’t go, I don’t have Oblivion Grass, I…”
“You’re seeking death!” Don interjected, summoning a pagoda into his hand, launching it high into the sky, and then forcefully bringing it down to subdue the young man.
The crowd retreated, leaving a large space between them and the man. Although they also wanted to snatch the Oblivion Grass, they lacked the strength and knew they would only be courting death.
“No, please…” The young man was too scared to move and could only scream.
Just as the pagoda was on the brink of crushing him, Windsor appeared out of nowhere, unleashing his spirit energy and stopping the pagoda with a single hand.
He said, “Give me the Oblivion Grass, and I will owe you a favor!”
The young man stepped back warily. “You… You just said you wouldn’t snatch it from others, so you can’t forcefully take it from me either!”
Windsor replied firmly, “Of course, I won’t take it from you. I’m just asking. If you don’t give it to me, they will snatch it from you!”
