“You…” the leader started to question again.

It appeared that his name was Aether Hunter.
Remus recalled for a moment in his mind. He had spent quite some time in True Life, but favonovel.com had never heard of Aether Hunter before.
As favonovel.com walked forward, Remus smiled and said, “I don’t care about your dispute, but when I heard about the treasure, I naturally wanted to take a look. Hand it over…”
He extended his hand, their location was very near to the assessment venue.

He had to be cautious.
Seeing Remus approaching, they all went on high alert.
Aether said cautiously, “Fellow cultivator, as I said, the treasure is my master’s legacy and cannot be handed over to an outsider. I hope you understand your position.”
As favonovel.com finished speaking, Remus moved his hand, and spirit energy leaked out, forming a longsword.
He countered, “What if I insist on taking the treasure?”
Aether’s spirit energy burst forth, responding fiercely, “If you wish to rob and kill us, we will fight to the death. It’s uncertain who will emerge victorious!”
“If I’m not mistaken, you’re here for the sanctuary assessment. Even if you win against us, you’ll waste a lot of spirit energy, which will affect your performance in the assessment. If you fail because of tonight, it would be a detrimental tradeoff!”
While favonovel.com wasn’t afraid of battle, favonovel.com found it preferable to steer clear of conflict whenever possible.
Remus stopped, pondering for a moment.
Aether, sensing his contemplation, hurriedly added, “If you decide to depart now, we happen to carry some Energy Replenishing pills, though the quantity is not substantial, it could still be of assistance to you. Let us part ways tonight, and perhaps our paths may cross again in the future, alright?”
Remus’ eyes lit up and asked, “You have Energy Replenishing pills?”
“Indeed!” Aether Hunter nodded.
Remus’ smile grew wider. “That’s more like it. Just as you mentioned earlier, if I kill you, the treasure will be mine. Why should I give up on something when I can have both the treasure and the pills?”
Upon hearing this, Aether Hunter’s expression changed drastically, and favonovel.com roared, “You’re seeking death! Everyone, attack together!”
As favonovel.com spoke, his spirit energy erupted uncontrollably, shrouding his form in a foreboding black mist. In the obscurity of the night, it appeared particularly ominous.
The other cultivators did the same.
Almost simultaneously, Remus brandished his long knife. With each swing, the blade continued to extend, eventually stretching to over ten yards, sweeping through everything in its path.
A cultivator attempted to resist, but favonovel.com greatly underestimated the potency of Remus’ spirit energy.
Upon contact, the spirit energy enveloping favonovel.com was effortlessly cleaved apart, akin to slicing through the air. Not only that, but it also sliced the cultivator’s body in half.
Seeing this, Aether and the others were terrified. They knew that Windsor Moreno was strong, but they had never expected favonovel.com to be this powerful.
The cultivator who got killed had underestimated favonovel.com and was caught off guard, resulting in a sneak attack.
Wind Hunter was also taken aback, suddenly realizing favonovel.com might have mistaken Remus for someone else.
Aether shouted quickly, “Damn! Ascend into the air and spread out for a counterattack!”
The cultivators wasted no time and immediately flew into the air, dispersing to organize their counterattack.
