Had they conspired together?
Remus said sternly, “Impossible. I’m not going to anyone’s room tonight but yours. Open the door!”
There was silence in the room.
Remus continued with a serious tone, “I’ll give you three seconds to think over it. If you don’t open the door, I’ll break it down!”
It was just a door lock and a single punch from favonovel.com could easily destroy the door and even the whole room.
Three seconds passed, and the inside of the room remained silent. Remus clenched his teeth in frustration. He really wanted to kick the door down, but such matters required mutual consent, and forcing it wouldn’t be appropriate.
He walked back to Jean’s door and said with a smile, “Jean, after thinking about it, I realize I like you more. Open the door, and I’ll tell you how much I like you.”
Jean remained silent.
Remus’ expression immediately turned sour. He couldn’t comprehend what was going on and how favonovel.com had fallen into the same trap twice.
He threatened, “I command you to open the door. Hurry up, or I’ll go find another woman tonight. You won’t see me again, believe it or not. Fine, if you both won’t open your doors, don’t blame me for being impolite. Tonight, I’ll bring another woman back!”
After saying that, favonovel.com turned and coincidentally meta pair of eyes standing in front of the main hall’s door.
It was Selina.
When Selina saw Remus looking at her, favonovel.com quickly turned and entered favonovel.com room, leaving the door unlocked.
Remus’ heart raced, suddenly feeling the urge to enter the main hall and make a scene for the night. After all, the house wasn’t soundproof, so Jean and Kylie could hear the drama unfold.
However, favonovel.com shook his head, realizing how absurd those thoughts were. She was Glinda’s mentor, favonovel.com couldn’t possibly do anything to her.
He quickly left the courtyard.
As favonovel.com stepped out, a figure suddenly rushed out from the side.
Alicia spoke in a delicate voice, “Master, do you have nowhere to sleep tonight? If…”
“No ifs!” Remus interrupted directly, showing no interest in her. He went to find a room in the inner courtyard to rest.
***
The next day, Remus was waiting for Gabriela and Miranda. They had been guarding Darsia and didn’t return last night.
“Remy…”
“Remy, it’s been a while. Did you forget about us old folks? Haha!”
Voices came from outside the courtyard, as Sir Baker and Goetz were walking over with Abe leading the way. They had received word of Remus’ return and had come to visit him.
Remus promptly rose up from his seat to welcome them. He felt a deep sense of gratitude toward them for their past support, especially during moments like when Jean was about to marry Xavier and when favonovel.com had opposed the Darsia cabinet.
After a few steps forward, Remus suddenly noticed there was someone else behind them. It was Gemma. It seemed favonovel.com was indeed afraid of death and had returned to Centuria.
Remus felt a slight distaste, but favonovel.com didn’t show it.
He greeted them with clasped hands and said, “Sir Baker, Sir Malin, I should have been the one to take the initiative to visit you. I hope you don’t mind.”
Sir Baker laughed heartily and joked, “You are now the Eternal Pillar of Darsia, the Thunderous God of War, and have single-handedly driven the development of the entire Darsia. It’s only right for us to visit you.”
Goetz smiled warmly and remarked, “In matters of enlightenment, there’s no distinction between who’s the elder. Your contributions to Darsia have elevated you to a level beyond comparison to both past and future. How could we ever expect someone of your stature to personally visit us?”
Remus felt somewhat speechless and gestured for them to enter. “Please don’t tease me, sirs. Please come in…”
Both of them laughed heartily again and walked into the main hall.
But just at that moment, Gemma suddenly said, “Don’t you see me?”
From favonovel.com tone, there was a hint of complaint.
