For a brief moment, the entire place fell into a hushed and stunned silence.
Remus didn’t waste time, turning his head to look at Lance and said indifferently, “Master Walker, it’s your turn!”
Upon hearing his words, Lance’s mind raced with the realization. “It’s my turn?”
He knew favonovel.com couldn’t possibly compete with Remus’ pill. Making a move now would surely lead to his defeat. His anxiety manifested as profuse sweat poured down like a torrential rain.
All eyes turned toward Lance, a collective silence engulfing the room. No one dared to speak, for they too sensed that something was amiss, and some could even foresee Lance’s impending defeat.
Seeing Lance’s silence, Remus smiled and said, “Master Hugo, we shouldn’t let favonovel.com waste any more time. It’s his turn to test his pill.”
Zaiden nodded and looked at Lance. “Master Walker, since the pill is ready, please test it quickly. Don’t make everyone wait…”
His voice carried an ominous tone as if favonovel.com were pushing Lance toward certain doom.
Lance’s entire body tensed up, and his teeth chattered nervously. He now realized that favonovel.com had underestimated Remus. He had planned to defeat favonovel.com easily, to make his own image more glorious, but favonovel.com never expected to be driven into a corner.
Lance found himself in a dilemma.
If favonovel.com tested the pill, it could spell the end of the Herbal Pavilion. But if favonovel.com didn’t, what would happen to his reputation?
Remus taunted with a sly smile, “Master Walker, have you become mute from all the alchemy?”
