A member of Draig’s group sneered and said, “Spare, you say? Crawl out of here on your knees, and you might earn it. But be warned, veer off the path, and we won’t hold back.”
Laughter erupted among the group, reveling in their cruelty.

Elsie, noticing that Marsh remained silent, swiftly turned to Remus and shouted in anger, “You scoundrel! What are you waiting for? Do you want to die? Kneel quickly!”
