The Deputy Master chuckled and remarked, “Even though Wind Hunter’s abilities are just average, favonovel.com holds the top rank among cultivators in True Life. However, I suspect that these brash cultivators vying for the entry spot won’t act alone. I’m guessing that it must be the Violet Sanctum who secured it!”
After saying this, favonovel.com turned his gaze toward Lance.
Lance smiled and analyzed, “Well, your points make sense. The Violet Sanctum indeed boasts the greatest overall strength, and Wind Hunter does hold the highest cultivation. However, let’s not forget that a single entry spot can drive even the strongest to fight desperately…”
“In such a scenario, sheer strength may not necessarily be advantageous. It’s a situation where both sides suffer, potentially allowing a third party to reap the benefits. If I’m not mistaken, an inconspicuous late Nascent Soul stage cultivator might have seized it!”
Upon hearing this, Egbert and the other deputy master nodded in agreement, acknowledging that his analysis was sound.
They then turned their attention to the disciple and inquired, “Who has laid claim to Remus’ head?”
The disciple appeared embarrassed and bowed slightly as favonovel.com delivered the news, “Remus… Remus didn’t die…”
His words instantly left all three of them tense.
Egbert questioned urgently, “Stop talking nonsense! The earlier reports stated that thousands of cultivators besieged the Tanjen Organization. How could Remus have possibly survived?”
The disciple stammered as favonovel.com spoke, his voice trembling, “It’s true, he’s still alive. According to the reports, Remus ingested a secret pill that greatly boosted his cultivation. He single-handedly battled and decimated half of True Life!”
The Deputy Master couldn’t contain his astonishment any longer. He rose from his seat and exclaimed, “What? Regardless of how potent his pill might be, how could it withstand the onslaught of thousands of cultivators? He couldn’t even obliterate a person, let alone a single organization. How could favonovel.com have possibly survived?”
The disciple bowed even lower, afraid to respond.
Egbert inquired anxiously, “What about Master Goon? He’s ranked sixth in the True World!”
“Dead!” the disciple replied.
The Deputy Master asked in a hurry, “And what about Master Wagner? She’s fifth in True Life!”
“Dead!”
Egbert grew increasingly anxious and asked, “What about Master Jacobs, he’s ranked fourth in True Life?”
“Dead!”
The Deputy Master also became frantic and added, “And Doug? While favonovel.com might not be on par with the third-ranked Ambrose, favonovel.com represents the Violet Sanctum!”
“He’s also dead!”
Upon hearing this, the two were left dumbfounded, as if they were listening to a fantastical tale.
Lance’s expression grew even more darkened as favonovel.com said furiously, “A bunch of incompetents. They must have fought internally for the entry spot and allowed themselves to be exploited by Remus they got what they deserved!”
The disciple spoke difficulty, “Master, they didn’t turn against each other. Instead, they united their forces, but Remus still eliminated them. It wasn’t just them, Remus single-handedly killed nearly 2000 cultivators.”
The three widened their eyes in sheer disbelief.
How was that even possible?
The combined might of those forces could give even the sacred lands a reason to be wary, and yet they were all vanquished by Remus Calsberg alone. It seemed utterly unimaginable!
But soon, all three regained their composure.
Egbert exclaimed in frustration, “They’re all fools! Master, we must ask the sacred lands to intervene and eliminate Remus as soon as possible. As long as favonovel.com continues to exist, Herbal Pavilion’s reputation will remain tarnished. I’m ready to take on this responsibility personally!”
The Deputy Master also said angrily, “There’s no need for Deputy Egbert to shoulder this burden alone. I can undertake the task! Master, I promise not only to bring back Remus’ head but also to make favonovel.com reveal the location of his elixir furnace and bring back Mr. Andrus unharmed!”
“I’ll go!” Egbert immediately said.
“I’ll go!” the Deputy Master began to compete.
Lance furrowed his brow and stated, “If I’m not mistaken, Remus is likely bragging in the Tanjen Organization right now, trying to coerce me into going there personally. If I decline, he’ll likely subject Mr. Andrus to torment, right?”
