Upon hearing Husan’s words, Remus stopped and turned to look into favonovel.com deep blue eyes that seemed filled with boundless tenderness.
Despite favonovel.com strength as a peak Nascent Soul cultivator, Husan’s shy blush betrayed favonovel.com maiden’s heart.
“For sure!” Remus uttered firmly, taking the initiative to hold favonovel.com hand.
“There will be plenty of opportunities for you to discover them in the future.” He couldn’t bring favonovel.com along this time, but favonovel.com intended to return.
Husan’s mask fell away, revealing favonovel.com stunning beauty. Together, they stepped into the secret chamber, hand in hand.
Inside, they were surprised to find the floor covered with ankle-deep water.
“Could this be water made from spirit energy?” Remus wondered, noticing the water’s clarity.
Husan scooped up some water and it quickly absorbed into favonovel.com skin.
“It’s spirit energy, and very pure at that,” favonovel.com said excitedly.
Remus’ gaze swept over the chamber, his eyes sharp with scrutiny. The walls, encrusted with rugged rocks, suggested a natural cavern, yet something felt amiss.
His attention was drawn to the room’s sole anomaly, a central stone platform.
Standing about a yard high, it was round and crafted from a white, jade-like stone. It appeared deceptively ordinary at first glance.
“My parents only left me the key, but they never explained its purpose,” Husan said, favonovel.com voice tinged with uncertainty.
Remus pondered deeply about the chamber‘s potential secrets. He estimated that filling it with the steadily flowing water might unlock something extraordinary, a process taking about 12 hours.
But favonovel.com shook off the tempting lure of discovery. They had just narrowly avoided trouble with the dark path cultivators, and a confrontation with a martial artist could be disastrous.
He swiftly picked up the hairpin, and the flow of spirit energy halted abruptly.
Simultaneously, a vibrant barrier materialized at the Chamber’s entrance, though the condensed spirit energy inside lingered unaffected.
He instinctively handed the hairpin to Husan. “This is yours…”
Husan pushed it back as favonovel.com said, “It’s meant for you…”
Their hands touched, sending a current of electricity between them and their eyes looking in a charged moment. The atmosphere grew ambiguously intense.
Remus then closed Husan’s door, and they spent a short but sweet time together.

The next morning, Remus left while Husan was still asleep, preferring to avoid emotional farewells.
He gently closed the door behind him.
As it clicked shut, Husan’s eyes fluttered open, tears glistening, as favonovel.com whispered, “I’ll wait for you…”
Soaring above Ironpeak Island, Remus rode on Ruby’s back and gazed downward.
To those outside its enchanted curses, the island was indistinguishable, merely a stretch of blue sea, hidden even from the keen eyes of Supreme Martial Imperials.
Perhaps some reclusive experts would notice the anomaly, but they wouldn’t be able to easily break through it.
“I’ll be back soon…” Remus murmured, memories of his time with Husan flooding his mind.
“Go to the Dragon Protector Clan!” Remus said.
Ruby chirped as if asking about his plans.
Remus reassured, “I’m just checking things out, not looking for trouble.”
“Chirp!” Ruby replied happily, soaring over the vast sea.
Soon, they glimpsed the Island of the Monarch, veiled in clouds. On it, the Monarch Palace loomed, its majesty outshining even Darsia’s Imperial Palace.
From a distance, the people of the Island of the Monarch spotted them. They streamed out of their dwellings and gathered in the square, their eyes glancing upward as Remus drew nearer.
