Remus swiftly delivered a slap across his face before Rufus could finish his sentence.
Rufus staggered to the side, nearly losing his balance and taking two steps back.

Garth, Philbert, and Ana looked on in disbelief, unable to believe that Remus had slapped Rufus.
Rufus looked around in bewilderment, then suddenly roared furiously, “You bastard, how dare you…”
Remus delivered another slap, speaking coldly, “I’ve noticed your displeasure with me since I arrived. If you dare spew nonsense again, I’ll slap you until you can’t speak!”
Rufus was on the verge of exploding in anger, wanting to defend himself but utterly incapable of doing so. He was the Deputy Master of The Schneiders, representing the Schneiders within The Dragon Protector Clan. And Remus wasn’t even a member of The Dragon Protector Clan yet.
