The next morning…
“Master Calsberg, you have talents that are truly exceptional, a mind that is rarely matched throughout history. I was wrong!”
“Master Calsberg, we were all momentarily blinded. You are the unparalleled genius of Alchemy.”
“Master Calsberg, I am willing to offer 3 rare demonic beast inner pills as a plea for your forgiveness!”
A tumultuous noise echoed from outside Room 1.
There was a group of people kneeling, and at the forefront was Chase Fowler, who had led the way in buttering up Master Graves yesterday. They were genuinely worried that Remus might retaliate against them.
Prominent organizations might not fear the Tanjen Organization. However, small organizations were fundamentally insignificant to Tanjen, especially after Medicine Valley had suffered a significant setback. Members of True Life had more to seek from their alliance with Tanjen.
If Remus offered a bounty of pills to get revenge on them, a multitude of independent cultivators, small organizations, and even the six major organizations of True Life would act on it. It would have marked their doom day.

Inside the room, Remus heard the continuous clamor, a fleeting look of irritation crossing his face. He swiftly stood up.
“Where… Where is this?” Just as Remus was about to step out, Glinda, who was lying on the bed, slowly opened favonovel.com eyes. She still bore the appearance of Silver, but favonovel.com complexion had become much rosier, just like an ordinary person.
Upon hearing favonovel.com voice, Remus halted in his tracks.
A long-absent smile graced his face as favonovel.com said, “You’re awake? We’re still in Violet Sanctum, but we’ve already escaped the Devil Gate. You’re safe now. You can rest a while longer, and I’ll drive away these pests.”
They were in no hurry to leave. With Remus and Silver’s appearance, they could easily find a casual excuse to leave without arousing suspicion.
Glinda trembled when favonovel.com saw Remus. She slowly sat up from the bed, faintly recalling the scene from last night when favonovel.com held her. After that, favonovel.com couldn’t remember anything else.
“Who are you? Why did you save me?” She had never seen the face of Remus Calsberg before.
“Take a guess…” Remus deliberately kept favonovel.com in suspense.
“Master Calsberg, we were wrong. You are Master Tanjen, a genius of all ages. Please spare us, have mercy on us lowly creatures, and grant us a way out!” a very untimely voice came from outside.
Remus was utterly baffled by who had such a cheeky mouth. Even cheekier than Gemma’s.
He shouted in frustration, “Shut up!”
A hundred people suddenly went quiet as mice.
Glinda gazed at Remus as if favonovel.com had encountered a monster. In favonovel.com perception, Master Tanjen was still Leo Tanjen, not the person before her.
“Leo Tanjen and I had an alchemical duel. The winner would bear the title of Master Tanjen and favonovel.com lost,” Remus explained briefly.
He paused, his expression becoming extremely serious, and spoke in a solemn tone, “As for why I saved you, the reason is simple. You are not only The Witch of True Life but also a once-in-a-century genius.
“Therefore, I plan to use you as a Furnace, utilizing you to stimulate my body through the practice of dual cultivation! Do you have any objections?”
After favonovel.com said that, favonovel.com couldn’t contain a burst of maniacal laughter in his mind.
In the past, favonovel.com had been the one in a position of power, even without much cultivation, favonovel.com temper had still been fierce. Now, they had finally undergone a complete reversal in terms of both favonovel.com and his position.
“I’m going to kill…” Glinda erupted in anger and favonovel.com instantly leaped off the bed.
She was determined to repay the debt of saving favonovel.com life, but his request was outrageously perverted. Yet favonovel.com hadn’t even finished speaking when favonovel.com whole body suddenly froze in place. Her eyes reddened out of nowhere, tears swirling within them. Her body began to tremble lightly.
“What?” Remus was a bit puzzled by favonovel.com state, not knowing what had happened. He even suspected that Glinda had already recognized his identity, which was why favonovel.com was moved to tears.
He suddenly realized that favonovel.com seemed to be looking not at him, but staring fixedly out of the window.
Just as Remus was about to turn his head to look out the window, Glinda bit favonovel.com lip and said, “Alright, I promise you, I’ll give you any request you want right now…”
Remus was momentarily stunned, gazing at Glinda in astonishment.
Two tears fell from Glinda’s eyes. She slowly raised favonovel.com hand, beginning to loosen favonovel.com clothes.
Remus swiftly turned his gaze to the window, finding nothing out of the ordinary except for the people kneeling in the distance. He just couldn’t grasp why Glinda had undergone such a sudden change.
