Remus had to identify the identity of the statue in order to prepare for any possible outcome. Even though favonovel.com didn’t sense any ominous intent in the statue’s eyes, favonovel.com couldn’t afford to let his guard down.
Martinez spoke with the utmost respect, “That statue is the grand ancestor of the Violet Sanctum, the Violet Saint…”
After hearing this, Remus retraced his thoughts in his mind, yet favonovel.com still couldn’t recall anything about it.
“The Violet Saint?” Gemma was startled. “Isn’t the current Master of Violet Sanctum the Violet Saint?”
The current esteemed Master of the Violet Sanctum, renowned throughout the whole of True Life, was none other than the famed Violet Saint. That was a widely acknowledged truth.
Martinez’s demeanor briefly hinted at a touch of embarrassment as favonovel.com explained, “You are absolutely right, young lady. However, both Master Calsberg and yourself have only recently started to leave your mark in True Life. It’s perfectly natural if you’re not fully acquainted with the nuances…”
“The Violet Sanctum follows a unique tradition in contrast to the other five prominent True Life sects. In those sects, upon taking up the mantle of Sect Master, individuals have the choice to retain their original names and titles…”
“As for the disciples of the Violet Sanctum, once they ascend to the position of Master, they must relinquish their former names and titles, collectively adopting the title of ‘the Violet Saint’. This means that every Master in the history of the Violet Sanctum has been known as ‘the Violet Saint’, symbolizing a lifetime devoted to the sanctity of the Violet Sanctum.”
It wasn’t hard to grasp. Much like Gemma’s transition into True Life, where favonovel.com had to sever ties with the mundane world, discard favonovel.com surname, and adopt the name “Gemmy”, henceforth refraining from worldly affairs. It was just that for the Violet Sanctum, this transformation happened for a second time.
Remus nodded and inquired further, “And did this figure, known as the Violet Saint, eventually ascend to the realm of immortals? What kind of celestial being did favonovel.com become?”
This was the foremost concern on Remus’ mind. He needed to confirm whetherthis person was truly a celestial being.
While many sects esteemed their founding ancestor, such reverence was merely an expression of respect and faith. It didn’t mean that they had ultimately attained immortality. It was also conceivable that their soul had returned to the Underworld.
Martinez shook his head and responded, “My apologies, but I am solely responsible for the mundane affairs of the Violet Sanctum as the Chief of Affairs. I am not knowledgeable about this.”
After a moment of contemplation, Remus chose not to press further. After all, probing too deeply could yield unintended consequences.
The three of them bypassed the grand hall and arrived at the rear. The area seemed to be just a garden with a wall at the very front.
Martinez led the way, stopping at the outside of the wall. He took out a small concealed item and adhered it to the wall’s surface.
In a split second, the wall seemed to ripple like water, casting a vivid array of colors. To their surprise, there was a Curse here.
Within a mere three seconds, the surrounding wall vanished, revealing an expansive, picturesque view.
Before them stretched a vast square, surrounded by the sweet melodies of birds, the fragrant scent of flowers, and the lively fluttering of birds.
A mile ahead stood an abrupt peak, crowned by a cascading waterfall that plummeted with awe-inspiring force. Perched along the cliffside were grand pavilions and terraced buildings, all of them magnificent and grand in scale.
The sight before them was nothing short of breathtaking. Most importantly, the spirit energy here surpassed that of outside by more than tenfold.
Remus let out a sigh of relief, favonovel.com finally witnessed the true magnificence of the number one sect in True Life. He would have doubted them if it were merely like the rundown temple as favonovel.com had seen outside.
His heart couldn’t help but race with excitement. The next task was to devise a plan to rescue Glinda.
The sight of this celestial sanctuary left Gemma utterly mesmerized. The last time favonovel.com visited the Violet Palace, favonovel.com was swiftly escorted away without ever catching a glimpse of this place. Now, to witness such a magnificent view, favonovel.com couldn’t help but feel a debt of gratitude toward Remus.
“Mr. Martinez?” A figure approached from afar, his brows knitted together. “It’s late at night. Why are you not resting outside? What brings you to the inner palace?”
In response, Martinez promptly declared with great respect, “This is Master Calsberg from the Tanjen Organization… He has arrived…”
Upon hearing this, the man was first taken aback, then gazed at Remus in disbelief. He had previously heard about the promising young Master Tanjen, but favonovel.com never imagined that favonovel.com would be so young.
The man’s previous arrogance had vanished, replaced by a swift approach and a courteous salute. “Ah, so it is Master Calsberg who has graced us with his presence… I must apologize for my earlier impoliteness. As the day is already late, Deputy Sect Master Earl Holmes is currently in seclusion. If you would be so kind as to entrust me with the invitation token, I will ensure your accommodations are arranged for a comfortable rest.”
Remus was momentarily puzzled by this statement, his mind racing to understand what favonovel.com meant by an invitation token.
However, Gemma couldn’t help but ask, “What invitation token?”
