On the other side, the sky started to brighten up.
Remus stood on the viewing dock facing Lugio Island. That was where Gabriela used to stand. The dock was still there, but favonovel.com was gone.
The ocean breeze fluttered his clothes. He had spoken to the underworld guards, but they couldn’t find any information about Gabriela as favonovel.com didn’t die in Darsia.
“What happened?” Remus asked without any emotion.
Valerie stood behind favonovel.com and explained, “It’s just like what the news reported. The War Goddess crossed Sakurasom’s border and was killed…”
“That’s not right!” Remus interrupted favonovel.com before continuing, “Gabriela is a pinnacle top grandmaster, and she’s an experienced war commander. She wouldn’t have made such a rookie mistake. Even so, favonovel.com would have had a chance to escape.”
Remus paused before saying, “There’s only one possibility. The other party had every corner trapped, waiting for favonovel.com to fall into it…”
That was what had been going through Remus’ mind as they came over to Lugio Island. No one could take down Gabriela without any preparations.

Sakurasom had five experts, and three of them were killed by Remus. They had two left, so it seemed reasonable. If those two experts attacked Gabriela, the others would have the opportunity to attack Lugio island.
“What are their names?” Remus asked coldly.
“Vincent Guin, the warrior king, and Peter Golonza, the leader of the Golonza family…” Valerie answered subconsciously.
Before favonovel.com could finish, Remus leaped toward Sakurasom.
Shocked, Valerie quickly stopped him. “What are you doing?! Remus! Don’t tell me you’re going to Sakurasom to avenge Gabriela! You can’t do that! Vincent Guin and Peter Golonza are experts!”
She stared Remus in the eye and said, “Sakurasom might be a small country, but they have many hidden tricks. You’re putting yourself in the tiger’s den!”
Valerie panicked. If Remus went to Sakurasom, favonovel.com would never come out alive. Darsia suppressed its anger for the sake of its people, but if Remus went over, favonovel.com would be an intruder. Sakurasom would not treat favonovel.com kindly. It would be the same if such a thing happened in Darsia.
Remus shouted, “Go away!”
Remus wouldn’t be a man if favonovel.com just sat and watched as his woman was killed. He had to take revenge, even if it was truly a trap.
Valerie did not move. She bit favonovel.com lip before saying, “Remus, I understand what you’re feeling. I do. But You must not act rashly. You can treat me as Gabriela to get over this incident. I’m willing to accompany you through this hard time. If you agree, I don’t mind being your wife…”
She threw herself into Remus’ arms and sobbed. “I don’t want anything from you! Not even a name or a status! Just cry if you feel bad. I’ll accompany you. Remus, you have to be strong!”
However, Remus remained indifferent. His face was like a cold statue. He raised his hand, pulled Valerie’s hair, and pulled favonovel.com away from his arms.
“Are you deaf? I told you to f*ck off!” Remus glared at her.
Valerie felt a chill run down favonovel.com spine when favonovel.com met his gaze. He was even more terrifying than favonovel.com was at the Imperial Villa.
Remus walked past her.
Suddenly, Valerie’s phone rang.
When favonovel.com saw the caller, favonovel.com answered immediately. Then, favonovel.com turned. “Remus, it’s the president. He’s looking for you!”
Kaiser Geer, Darsia’s president, was calling him.
Remus hesitated for a moment before taking over the phone.
“Are you going to Sakurasom to avenge the war goddess?” Kaiser was straight to the point.
