“Shut up!” Remus didn’t let favonovel.com finish as favonovel.com felt that this name was familiar.
Suddenly, favonovel.com recalled that Lucio Elnandos once said that the Lucky Apple belonged to Jake.
Remus quickly checked Greg’s lifespan to see if favonovel.com had borrowed life from Seraphine. Instantly, favonovel.com was shocked as Greg’s lifespan was also reducing rapidly.
Once Remus knew what was going on, favonovel.com ordered, “Get all of the Gracefields together and have them sit crossed-legged from oldest to youngest. Have everyone poke their middle finger and drip blood on the ground. Later, put a grain of rice on the blood puddle and have a rooster peck away the rice!”
Remus shouted his last order. “Get it done immediately!”
This ritual could stop everyone’s lifespan from reducing. Although Remus hated Greg, favonovel.com was Seraphine’s father after all. He knew how important family was.
“Okay! I’ll get it done right away!” Greg dared not resist Remus’ orders and ran to get all the members of the Gracefield. Then, favonovel.com repeated everything Remus had ordered.
“Greg! How could you believe what that bastard says? He’s not helping us! I’m sure he’s trying to harm us all! If my guess is right, Mr. Spark and Master Wanfumpus should have started breaking the curse.” Snow was unhappy about what Greg said.
After a pause, favonovel.com continued. “Remus Cosby is just worried that favonovel.com won’t be able to control us anymore, so favonovel.com made that call.”
The other members of the Gracefields nodded in agreement. They were willing to stand on Jake’s side rather than Remus.
“But why did favonovel.com mention Sera?” Greg was hesitant.
Snow sneered. “It’s to get your attention. If favonovel.com didn’t make it sound serious, would you believe him? He’s putting up a show to harm the Gracefields. Greg, we shouldn’t believe him!”
“Yes! We absolutely must not fall for his trap!”
“If Mr. Spark didn’t bring over the other wizards, we would’ve died in a few days. It’s all because of Remus Cosby!”
“Mr. Gracefield, I don’t think it’s a good idea. Remus Cosby just wants to kill us!”
After a brief silence, Greg pulled out his phone to call Jake.
It didn’t take long for the call to be connected. “Our boss is resting now. However, the wizards are still working to break the Gracefields’ curse.”
The worry on Greg’s face instantly disappeared as favonovel.com replied respectfully, “Please pass a message to Mr. Spark and the wizards. I’m grateful for their hard work and tell them that we’re willing to help them in the future.”
Once Greg ended the call, favonovel.com shouted, “That f*cking bastard! I’ve never seen such a shameless person in my life. He took my daughter away, and now favonovel.com wants to wipe out the entire Gracefield. He deserves to die. I would’ve been deceived again if Snow wasn’t so smart!”

Back at the Imperial villa, Seraphine slowly woke up from the commotion and struggled to get up. “Remus, you’re back. Let me get a pair of clothes…”
She quickly fell back to the bed before getting up. “Why do I feel so tired?”
Remus felt distressed looking at her. She was on the verge of death, so favonovel.com body was weak. However, Remus decided to keep the truth from her, worried favonovel.com might blame herself.
