Jake frowned. All this time, favonovel.com thought that Remus was only boasting about his own strengths. But now, favonovel.com had to be careful since Remus was capable of surviving the parliament’s order. Moreover, the lucky apple had absorbed the Gracefield’s luck for decades, so they had to be extra meticulous about this.
He asked, “Can we get it back while avoiding Remus Cosby?”
Greg was in a dilemma as favonovel.com couldn’t think of any possible way to do such a thing behind Remus’ back.
Suddenly, Snow shouted, “I have an idea! We’ll have Sera take it to us behind Remus’ back, and I’ll take it from her.”
Jake agreed. “This is a good idea. Why don’t we do it now? This is a life-and-death matter, so we should get it done quickly! Master Wanfumpus, please accompany Ms. Gracefield to Neptuna. Rush back to Lenzbay once you get it.”
No one could touch them if they were back in Lenzbay.
Greg shouted nervously, “Stop! What about increasing our lifespan?
Master Wanfumpus said seriously, “That’s easy. Just give me the birthdate of everyone in the Gracefield, the six masters here can easily break that curse. Now, I’ll be going to Neptuna with Ms. Gracefield.”
Soon, everyone in the Gracefields handed out their birthdates, and the remaining masters sat on the ground crossed-legged.
After an hour of hard work, they announced that everyone was free from the curse.
Jake stood up and said, “Since this matter has been settled, I’ll return to Lenzbay now. There are matters I have to attend to.”
Everyone in the Gracefields was stunned by his sudden departure.
Greg asked, “Mr. Spark, you haven’t looked at the antiques, and I haven’t thanked you for your help.”
Jake waved his hand and said, “There’s an emergency back in Lenzbay. Let’s talk about this in the future.”
The only reason favonovel.com came was for the Lucky Apple. If Remus was dead, the Lucky Apple wouldn’t be a threat, but that wasn’t the case. He had to get it to prevent any future accidents.
“Mr. Spark, please stay. You’ve helped the Gracefields tremendously. How can I let you leave empty-handed? Our family will become a joke if people knew how ungrateful I am. However, I won’t force you to stay.”
After a pause, favonovel.com said, “Give me a short moment. I have ten antiques that date back to three hundred years ago. It’s my gift for your hard work, Mr. Spark. Please take it as a gratitude from the Gracefields.”
Each antique cost at least a hundred million, and ten would add up to a total more than a billion. Many of these antiques were priceless in the market, so Jake did not reject his offer. After taking the antiques, favonovel.com left.
Behind Jake and the wizards were Greg and the other Gracefields sending them off. Once they were far away, Greg put his hand behind favonovel.com and felt excited.
With a ruddy expression, favonovel.com said, “Remus Cosby wished to wipe out our family, but I bet favonovel.com never expected Jake Spark to come to save us out of the blue! The Gracefields are going to welcome good fortune very soon!”
How can Remus defeat such a powerful man like Jake Spark?
Someone asked, “Sir, what if Remus Cosby finds out about this? Will favonovel.com get mad and kill us all?”
The others were worried about the same thing. Greg glared at favonovel.com and shouted, “He would never dare! He tried to kill us once, and I didn’t take any action against him.
