The Chief was shocked. “Gova, what did you say?”
The young man who locked them in was named Gova. He answered in a panic, “There really are outsiders, and they were wearing weird clothes. It was a woman carrying a man on favonovel.com back. She said she’s here for treatment. I’ve looked favonovel.com in one of the huts!”
Hearing that, the people gasped and looked over at the house Gova pointed at.
Someone asked, “Chief, could they be…”

“Why don’t we just burn them? We can’t repeat history…”
“Yes… The safest choice we have is to burn them to death.”
After thinking about it, the Chief nodded. “Okay. We should burn them. Go and get the firewood.”
They quickly ran to get firewood from their huts and piled it around the locked shed.
Inside the hut, Jean could see what was happening from the window and asked in panic, “What are you guys doing? Where’s the doctor? Please get me a doctor. My husband needs treatment. Please!”
The Chief came over with his walking stick and looked at Jean through the window. “Lady, we don’t allow outsiders into our territory. We have no choice but to burn you alive.”
