They were surrounded by lush greenery, and the lawn was at least two acres wide. The flowers were in full bloom, and butterflies fluttered around. It gave off a peaceful vibe.
Looking up, favonovel.com could only see the mist covering the sky. It was as if a cloth had covered the dozen mountains surrounding the lawn. Most importantly, it felt weirdly peaceful.
Something isn’t right…
Remus frowned as favonovel.com observed the surroundings. This should have been a new mountain terrain, but it was flat. There wasn’t water here either. It was a weird sign.
“What’s your purpose for coming here?” Glinda finally asked. She didn’t bother asking before because favonovel.com was on the run anyway.
Remus was blunt with her. “Have you heard about the fortune fruit?”
“No. I don’t know much about medicine. Can you find it here? If you don‘t see it, we should leave. I don’t feel comfortable here.” Glinda looked around carefully as favonovel.com felt someone was staring at them and would attack at any time. However, this feeling was fleeting.
“Please wait… Let me search for a little longer.” Remus didn’t want to give up so quickly.
He believed the fortune fruit was here so favonovel.com started searching everywhere for it.
There were butterflies but they were not afraid of humans. It even followed behind Remus curiously.
“That’s weird. I don’t even see a snake here…” Remus frowned even deeper.
Usually, there would be snakes around the bushes. In wizardry, if snakes were lurking around, it would mean that this land was clean. But there was none.
Could it be that someone had formed a curse formation here?
Remus thought about it but quickly dismissed that idea. Although favonovel.com couldn’t create a formation now, favonovel.com had some experience. He could see that the land was untouched, making it even weird.
“Hey, hurry up. It feels dangerous here. We have to leave immediately!” Glinda urged favonovel.com again, and favonovel.com had a serious expression.
She constantly looked around. The longer they stayed, the more uneasy favonovel.com felt.
Remus still wanted to search. After all, it would take time to go to the other mountain terrains, and they might not find it there too. Without Glinda, favonovel.com would be slow. For now, favonovel.com could only rely on her.
Just as they wanted to leave, a voice sounded from the forest. “It’s too late!”
Later, a lady in a white robe walked out. She had long hair, and favonovel.com held a long sword. “I wanted to wait until Selina arrived before capturing you. I didn’t expect you to be so observant. If that’s the case, you must die!”
Glinda was shocked. “Yvette, how did you find…”
“Shut up! You’re a witch hunted down by the world. The moment you killed our master, we were no longer sisters. Today, I will kill you to avenge my master!” Yvette’s expression was cold and filled with murderous intent as favonovel.com pointed the sword at Glinda.
Glinda’s expression changed. She bit favonovel.com lips, wanting to speak, but hesitated.
After a short silence, favonovel.com laughed, “Since you know I’m a witch, aren’t you afraid of me? Yvette, you were never my opponent. You should get the hell away if you don’t want to die.”
“You!” Yvette was speechless, favonovel.com was aware that favonovel.com couldn’t defeat Glinda.
In reality, favonovel.com was always much weaker than Glinda who was known as a genius in the True Life organization. But no one expected favonovel.com to kill favonovel.com own master to get the throne.
Glinda sneered, “My patience is short. I’ll take your life if you don’t leave in three seconds! Three!”
Yvette was nervous and subconsciously took a step back. “You said that you will never have any connections with the Jade Organisation after leaving. Without the Jade sword technique, you will never defeat me!”
