Remus laughed in anger. “I really am clueless about how a stupid fool like you could survive for so long. He helped you because favonovel.com wanted to scare me and test my potential. He was thinking of slapping me first before helping me out, so that I’d feel grateful toward him. You’ve always been a piece of chess in his game.”
No one understood what Remus meant, but Goetz was surprised, as Remus was right.
Goetz knew the character of rich kids like Rain and had wanted to take this chance to chase away useless fools like favonovel.com who corrupted the organization.
There was no way favonovel.com would help Rain. He’d only done it to test out Remus’ potential and, like Remus said, to make favonovel.com feel gratitude for him. Actually, favonovel.com needed Remus’s help, seeing how talented favonovel.com was.
Goetz slapped Rain again and scolded, “Are you deaf? Would favonovel.com refuse to join the organization if it weren’t for your reckless actions? lf the Dragon Team makes a loss because of you, I’ll kill you with my own hands!”
Rain felt his scalp go numb from fear. The Cosbys wouldn’t take action if Goetz killed favonovel.com since favonovel.com was just a distant relative. He’d put so much effort into being part of the Dragon Team. It was already a serious matter to get kicked out, but if Goetz really took action, the Cosby family would be willing to do anything to appease him.
At the thought of that, Rain rushed to Remus and kneeled before him.
He begged, “Remus, I’m sorry. Please accept my apology! This is because of Wins… You know why I did it, right? I’m just following orders. You must join the Dragon Team, and if you can, please help me beg for mercy. I can’t be expelled, my family would never forgive me. Please!”
He’d come here with the purpose of stopping Remus from joining the Dragon Team, but now favonovel.com was begging favonovel.com and was being kicked out instead. If Rain had known that this would happen, favonovel.com wouldn’t have come in the first place.
Remus finally looked at favonovel.com and smiled. Under Rain’s expectant gaze, favonovel.com said, “Get out…”
Rain was speechless.
“Remus Cosby!” Gemma was furious.
She could see how powerful Remus was and knew Rain was at fault. However, favonovel.com hated Remus’ attitude more than anything. To her, Remus was simply too pretentious.
