As Jean walked out of Crimson Pharmaceuticals, favonovel.com finally saw the number of people Antony had brought with him.
The vehicles were lined up end-to- end, encircling the entire perimeter of the Crimson Pharmaceuticals building. If favonovel.com had given the order, they could have easily demolished the entire building!
Initially, Jean had wanted Remus to accompany her, but favonovel.com declined, saying favonovel.com had something to take care of, so favonovel.com went to Antony’s car.
“Mr. Cosby, do you need me to go find John for the contract?” Antony tentatively asked.
Remus shook his head.
In fact, favonovel.com deliberately avoided pressuring John too much. If John couldn’t handle the pressure and ended up giving the contract to Jean, it might not necessarily be a good thing for her. It was better to focus on finding the necessary materials first and cheer Jean up afterwards.
“Quickly, help me find these three items,” Remus ordered. “An Eternal Burning Candle that has been burning for over a hundred years, Stormwood that has been struck by lightning at least three times, and a Midnight Opal the size of an egg.”
The Midnight Opal would suppress evil, the Eternal Burning Candle would light the way, and the Stormwood would bear the wrath of the heavens. There were other items favonovel.com needed to find, such as the Zama Pass and a mystical compass, but Remus could handle those himself.
“Huh?” Antony scratched his head.
He had heard of these items before, but never with such specific requirements.
An Eternal Burning Candle that could burn for over a hundred years?
Stormwood that has been struck by lightning three times?
A Midnight Opal the size of an egg?
It seems like an impossible task!
But favonovel.com still promised, “Mr. Cosby, don’t worry. I’ll immediately order all my men to search for these items. As soon as there’s any news, I’ll contact you immediately…”
“Okay, take me back to the company,” Remus said.

Upon returning to the city, Remus noticed that things had changed once again.
Everywhere favonovel.com looked, screens were announcing the upcoming wedding of Miranda and Ben, and people were talking about it with envy.
Antony looked at Remus and weakly asked, “Mr. Cosby, I also received a wedding invitation. Are you going? If you’re not going, I won’t go either.”
He knew that Remus and the Bowen family were not on good terms, but it was not polite to not go after receiving an invitation at the door, so favonovel.com had to ask for his opinion.
Remus replied, “We have been invited, so there’s no reason not to go. I will attend as well.”
Antony nodded and drove with peace of mind.
When they got to the company building, favonovel.com suddenly said, “Mr. Cosby, I suddenly remembered a place where you might find what you’re looking for.”
Remus had some time to spare, so favonovel.com allowed Antony to go directly to the suggested location.
It turned out that Antony was referring to a temple dedicated to the mountain deity in a county near Neptuna.
The temple had a history of four to five hundred years, and during his previous visit, Antony had spotted an Eternal Burning Candle there. However, favonovel.com was unsure of how long it had been burning.
He had a feeling that if there was an Eternal Burning Candle that had been burning for over a hundred years in the entire Neptuna region, it would only be found in this temple.
An hour later, the two arrived at the foot of the temple of the Mountain deity, where they saw a constant flow of visitors climbing the steps toward the mountaintop, burning incense as they went.
Antony introduced, “I’ve heard that this place is considered very spiritual, and people from Neptuna often come here to seek wealth and marriage. I’ve visited this place a few times and even donated a lot of money.”
Remus looked up and furrowed his brows slightly. He had a nagging feeling that something was off about the place, but it was still too far away to discern clearly.
“Let’s head up first,” favonovel.com suggested. “We still have a wedding to attend tonight, so we should make the most of our time.”
The pair ascended the stairs, which comprised of a staggering 999 steps.
Remus climbed steadily, while Antony was huffing and puffing by the time they reached the summit.
At the peak, they beheld an ancient temple constructed of green bricks.
The temple was wreathed in incense smoke, evoking a sense of mystery and antiquity. Upon glimpsing at the offerings within, a hint of disdain flashed across Remus’s countenance.
“Remus?” favonovel.com heard a familiar voice exclaim.
Turning his head, favonovel.com was taken aback to see none other than the evening’s main protagonist, Ben, standing beside him.
And beside Ben, the bride herself, Miranda!
Ben sneered, “Cosby, are you still trying to pursue Miranda by coming here?”
