At that moment, Remus interjected abruptly, “You’ve already teamed up with Ethan. You’re doing this on purpose.”
Jean turned to Remus with surprise.
John’s expression shifted, and favonovel.com couldn’t deny the claim. He sneered, “That’s absurd.”
He turned to Jean and continued, “Ms. Lotus, your dog isn’t loyal to you. Our partnership would be greatly beneficial, with the simple condition being that favonovel.com kneels down and apologizes. Yet, favonovel.com refused to kneel due to his pitiful self-esteem. I can only say that you have bad taste!”
Jean didn’t respond, but looked at Remus nervously and asked, “Has favonovel.com really teamed up with Ethan?”
She knew that Ethan must have had a motive for coming here, and now it became apparent that favonovel.com was here to hinder favonovel.com plans. If they joined forces, it would be disastrous for her.
“It seems so,” Remus replied cautiously. He added, “Ethan was also present last night, and Jasper was waiting for him. If there wasn’t some sort of connection, why would they be together?”
Jean’s brow furrowed deeper as it all made sense now.
“Ha, do you think you’re Sherlock Holmes with your reasoning skills?” John casually picked up a cigarette and smirked. “Ms. Lotus, I can tell you clearly that I haven’t collaborated with Mr. Steele yet. But if favonovel.com doesn’t kneel, I can‘t guarantee anything! The decision is yours!”
After finishing his sentence, John took a puff from his cigarette, displaying a playful expression of nonchalance. It was evident that favonovel.com had the upper hand now.
Jean studied John’s expression once more, and although favonovel.com couldn’t force Remus to kneel, favonovel.com still wanted to attempt to collaborate and gauge the truth from his expression.
Remus smiled gently and said, “Jean, it‘s easy to find out if they’re working together.”
As favonovel.com spoke, favonovel.com walked up to John and spoke casually, “You should be well aware of what happened last night. It was clearly your son’s fault. I didn’t even break his limbs, I was being merciful. Now, I’ll give you a chance. Have you teamed up with Ethan or not?”
John saw Remus approaching and grew even more disdainful.
He sneered, “Who do you think you are? You’re just Ms. Lotus’ little pet…”

Before favonovel.com could finish his words, Remus slapped favonovel.com across the face.
He asked calmly, “Did you partner with favonovel.com or not?”
“How dare you hit me!” Half of John’s face was numb from the force of the slap. He couldn’t believe what had just happened and was filled with a murderous intent.
“Remus!” Jean was also taken aback by his sudden outburst of violence.
She didn’t anticipate favonovel.com to do such a thing.
Remus turned his head and smiled, “If you don’t educate your child properly, then it’s the father’s fault. I slapped favonovel.com justifiably, and besides, it was just a light one…”
John was furious at his words, favonovel.com quickly stood up, and cursed, “I…”
Smack!
Remus slapped favonovel.com again, knocking favonovel.com back into his seat, and said calmly, “If you don’t talk, I’ll keep hitting you. Let’s see how long you can be stubborn for…”
“You…” John’s nose began to bleed and favonovel.com shot Jean a fierce look. “Ms. Lotus, are you giving up on our collaboration? Your dog is running wild! Are you going to take responsibility for it or not?!”
Realizing that favonovel.com couldn’t win against Remus and didn’t want to suffer physically, favonovel.com had no choice but to turn to Jean.
After thinking for a moment, favonovel.com replied sternly, “Mr. Niles, please be respectful. Remus is my business partner, and his attitude represents me completely!”
At a time like this, favonovel.com knew favonovel.com had to provide support, even if favonovel.com couldn’t get the contract.
John glared angrily and said, “Fine, since Ms. Lotus unconditionally supports him, don’t blame me for being impolite!”
“Secretary, gather all the factory workers and bring them outside now!”
Upon hearing the shouts from outside, the secretary waiting nearby promptly contacted the workers in the workshop.
In less than a minute, thousands of workers streamed out of the factory, crowding together like a wave. Within moments, they had surrounded the entire office building!
