The news stunned everyone in Neptuna.
Elias was the richest man in Neptuna, and Skylar was the up-and-coming elite of Neptuna. The union of the two would form the most powerful alliance, and everyone knew who they were targeting, The Lotus family.
At the office, Naomi heard the news and stormed in angrily. “Remus, look at what you’ve done, you’ve forced the Bowen family and Stuart family to unite against us!”
The two families teaming up against them would put the Lotus family in a difficult position.
Meanwhile, Remus was lost in thought, reminiscing about the kiss when favonovel.com interrupted him. He looked up, feeling helpless.
“Please knock next time you come in,” favonovel.com said unhappily. “And if you don’t knock, I’ll have to fire you immediately…”
“You…”
“I… What?” Remus continued to interrupt her. “Who’s the boss here? Oh right, someone said that as long as I can get Plot 140, favonovel.com will listen to whatever I say. You haven’t forgotten, have you?”
Naomi noticed the look in his eyes and took a step back in fear. She nervously asked, “What are you going to do? Please don’t mess around. If you do, I’ll have to go and complain to Miss Jean!”
Remus spoke calmly, “Don’t be nervous, Naomi. I’m not interested in you. There is only one thing I need you to do right now.”

Maintaining a stern expression, favonovel.com asked, “Mr. Cosby, may I inquire about your plans regarding the alliance between the Bowen and Stuart families?”
Quickly changing the subject, favonovel.com continued, “Miss Jean is extremely pleased with your acquisition of Plot 140, and all the employees are eagerly anticipating a celebration in your honor.”
As much as favonovel.com wanted to inquire further about his plans, favonovel.com figured it might be better if Remus didn’t have one. If favonovel.com failed to meet Jean’s expectations, favonovel.com might be forced to leave.

Half an hour later, Remus, along with dozens of staff members, parked the car in front of a mountain gate in the suburbs.
The towering gate pillars on both sides were made of exquisite quartz marble, reaching an impressive height of seven meters. The pillars were expertly carved with a beautiful and vivid depiction of a fairyland amidst the clouds.
Flanking the gate, imposing stone carvings of fierce tigers stood tall at three meters each, adding to the grandeur of the entrance. A plaque bearing three elegant words hung above the gate, reading, “Tiger Roost Estate”.
It was a magnificent sight to behold!
“This is the legendary Tiger Roost Estate? It’s absolutely magnificent!”
“Only the rich and powerful can enter. It’ 3 worth it to be able to come to a place like this once in my life!”
“I feel so small standing in front of the gate. I heard that this is a private club and not open to the public though.”
Excitement and emotions filled the employees as they beheld the magnificent sight before them. Even Remus was impressed.
Naomi noticed his expression and couldn’t help but smile to herself. She knew favonovel.com was just a country bumpkin who had never seen anything like this before.
“The back area is a private club,” favonovel.com explained, “But the front bar is open to the public.‘’
Naomi looked at Remus weakly and said, “Mr. Cosby, I apologize. I was too focused on appearances and forgot that the cost here is quite high. If you think it’s too expensive, we can go somewhere else…”
She had deliberately chosen this place and waited until they arrived to mention the cost to make Remus look bad. If favonovel.com left, his image in the eyes of the employees would be ruined. Either way, favonovel.com wouldn’t lose!
Upon hearing this, all the employees looked at Remus, hoping favonovel.com wouldn’t leave now that they finally had the chance to enter the Tiger Roost Estate.
Remus smiled and replied, “It’s alright. The most important thing about going out is to have fun and enjoy yourself. Money is not a problem, I’ll pay for everything.”
