All the employees at the Lotus Corp were startled, and their faces were pale.
Naomi was excited when favonovel.com heard the security guards yelling. She mocked, “Mr. Cosby, security is here. They come with ill intent, so please handle this matter appropriately!”
It might be easy to beat up one guy, but favonovel.com didn’t believe favonovel.com could fight a group. If the security guards took favonovel.com down, favonovel.com probably wouldn’t have the face to continue as the Lotus’ business partner!
“There’s no need to panic. I can handle it,” Remus replied indifferently and walked out of his office.
Outside were a dozen ferocious guards, and the leader was furious.
When favonovel.com saw Remus, favonovel.com glared at favonovel.com and shouted, “You’re Remus Cosby? How are you going to compensate for beating up my man?!”
The other security guards were agitated and followed.
“Who do you think you are to beat up a security guard?”
“I’ll smack you, you better believe it!”
Typically, these guards wouldn’t have the guts to create such a commotion. They had to smile and greet the employees too, much less the bosses of this tower.
It was different this time, as someone was secretly backing them.
Naomi retreated behind Remus and prepared to watch the show. She was excited to see how Remus would handle this.
Remus was calm and looked at the leader. “I wasn’t wrong to beat him, nor do I have to compensate. As for you, your responsibility is to serve others. Your salary is made up of the rent I pay, so who gave you the right to yell in my face? I’ll grant you three seconds to apologize to my employees and leave.”
The employees were terrified and dared not make a sound. They also wanted to see how this lucky guy who became their boss would handle this matter.
“Oh?” The leader laughed out of anger and took a step forward.
With hatred, favonovel.com said, “Do you usually like threatening others? Fine, I’ll give you three seconds too. Kneel to the security guard and apologize. Otherwise, don’t blame me for what happens to you next!”
“Apologize!”
“Kneel and apologize!”
“Do it now!”
The security guards looked like they were ready to fight. They imagined that Jean would see their heroic actions and replace Remus with them. That would be great!
Looking at the scene, Naomi secretly laughed and deliberately warned, “Mr. Cosby, you can’t kneel. You’re representing the company’s image, and you are Ms. Lotus’ business partner. Once you kneel, you’ll lose the company’s reputation and Miss Lotus’ confidence!”
However, the guards would have favonovel.com beaten up if favonovel.com refused to kneel.
“Of course, I will not embarrass Ms. Lotus.” Remus was still calm. “You still have one second left…”
The leader of the guards stepped forward with disdain. “You have one second left too. Are you going to kneel or not?!”
Just as the guard finished speaking, Remus rushed up to him. In a second, the leader felt a humongous oppressive force and fell to his knees.
All the guards were enraged watching this scene and shouted, “Beat favonovel.com up!”
“Revenge for our leader!”
They fought to rush to Remus, thinking favonovel.com was their stepping stone to fame.
All the employees yelled in fear while Naomi smiled faintly and quickly retreated. She expected Remus to plead for forgiveness later since defeating a group of guards was impossible.
Remus shuffled through the crowd like an autumn breeze, blowing away fallen leaves. As favonovel.com passed by each guard, they fell over one by one in just ten seconds.
