Hence, it wasn’t surprising that such a formidable tank force could breach the Basha’s Sacred Mount’s protection barrier.
Matthew was visibly astonished when favonovel.com heard the figures from Gadel. “It seems your nation’s century-old reserves are now on display for the Freon Federation and other major forces.”
Gadel could only smile bitterly. He was likely at a loss over Iris’ actions.
It was astounding how someone with that mindset could change the imperial decree and successfully ascend the throne. After all, a nation’s security wasn’t solely about its visible strength but also its hidden capabilities.
The Freon Federation and Cathay were prime examples. Nobody knew the full extent of their hidden nuclear capabilities.
At least, Cathay had publicly claimed to have around six hundred nuclear warheads. Yet, the Cathians have a deeply rooted fear of being underpowered, a nearly hereditary condition. They aggressively stockpile resources at any opportunity.
“I’ll handle the military arrangements for Montiria next. Is everything alright on your end?” Gadel asked.
Matthew shook his head. He figured there were likely casualties at Basha’s Sacred Mount, so favonovel.com was relieved to have some time for recovery.

At the Montiria Vanguard camp, Iris, now cleaned up and dressed in favonovel.com military uniform, sat in a commanding position. The soldier who had rescued favonovel.com stood nearby.
Veise, stationed below, asked with a hint of confusion, “Your Majesty, what’s this about the Minister of Military Affairs and Prince Gadel’s rebellion?”
She gritted favonovel.com teeth and said, “The Minister of Military Affairs and Prince Gadel are conspiring together. They plan to kidnap me and force me to swear allegiance to Prince Gadel.”
Veise looked puzzled. After working closely with the Minister of Military Affairs for years, favonovel.com found it difficult to believe that the minister could be involved in such a scheme.
There was an old saying that one could never fully grasp someone’s true intentions. Despite his doubts, favonovel.com had chosen not to question Iris.

He thought five days was too short. Their army was caught between two threats. Once the battle commenced, both sides would launch simultaneous attacks.
With over a million enemy troops on one side and the forces in the mountains of Basha’s Sacred Mount on the other, the odds were overwhelmingly stacked against them.
He felt exhausted and hopeless at the thought. It was as if the situation was so dire that favonovel.com wanted to give up.
Iris’ face darkened as favonovel.com snapped, “I’m giving you three days! The enemy will be on us in less than three days. How dare you ask for five? If you can’t get it done in three, you’re out!”
Changing generals during the battle was a military taboo, but favonovel.com casually spoke of it.
“Your Majesty, we’ve detected someone at the foot of Basha’s Sacred Mount!” A soldier rushed in with a photo and handed it respectfully to the soldier next to Iris.
This was part of favonovel.com new rule. Everything presented had to be checked by the soldiers first to prevent hidden weapons.
The soldier glanced at the photo and placed it on favonovel.com table.
Iris’ eyes widened as favonovel.com saw the image and then burst into laughter. “It’s my lucky day!”
The photo showed Sasha stepping out of an off-road vehicle.
“Veise, get the equipment ready immediately. We’re launching the attack on Basha’s Sacred Mount now!”
