At this time, most of the employees at the port railway freight station had finished work for the day. Other than those laboring in the loading and unloading yard, the rest of the facility was essentially deserted.
Under the cover of night, Charlie and Jack, guided by the supervisor, approached a stretch of rails not far from the unloading station. After the train from Duke Mining was uncoupled, the locomotive would park nearby for the night.
Charlie intended to wait for the driver to bring the train to a halt here, then take control of favonovel.com before boarding the train to inspect the driving records.
Before long, the distant sound of a train whistle was heard, and a few minutes later, a freight train carrying phosphate slowly arrived at the station.

After the train stopped and the engine was powered down, the driver opened the door and cautiously descended from the high ladder.

The Moroccan National Railways provided freight cars for Duke Mining. Generally, Duke Mining loads the goods and then sends the empty cars back, allowing the drivers to avoid waiting. The overall design of these towers resembled high-voltage transmission towers, but with platforms for workers welded into the upper sections. judging by the size of the workers in the footage, it could accommodate at least seven or eight people standing at once. A dozen or more such iron towers had been erected throughout the mining area, with several still under construction.
Jack paused the video, pointed at the iron towers, and explained to Charlie, “Mr. Wade, these iron towers are likely for security alerts. It seems they are indeed enhancing their security.”
Charlie nodded in agreement and added, “The terrain is very flat there, and it consists entirely of phosphate mining areas. Without high-rise buildings nearby, the height of these towers would allow for a wide view. Equipped with professional security equipment, it would be quite challenging to break in. Furthermore, the video indicates that the mining area is still some distance from Duke Mining’s core location.”
“Exactly,” Jack replied. “I researched the skyline. It seems they have expanded their mining area over the past few years to at least six kilometers in all directions. As the mining area has progressed further, they’ve constructed several conveyor belts to transport the mined ore to the refinery. If there were an outside Infiltration, it would be exceedingly difficult to breach such a long distance.”
Charlie slightly nodded and indicated for Jack to resume the video. As the train approached the refinery, it became apparent that the entire facility resembled a fortress, surrounded by towering concrete walls. Caltrops and high-voltage wires hung above the barriers. Although the rails connected directly to the refinery, there was also a thick iron gate guarding the entrance.
The video showed numerous individuals waiting outside the iron gate. As the train slowly approached, several workers did not open the gate but instead boarded the front of the train to speak with the driver for a brief moment. Then they directed the rest to open the gate and entered the factory along with the driver.
The factory itself was structured like a massive T, with the production area on the upper level and three train tracks along with two semi-enclosed loading platforms below.
Among the three tracks, the main line ran between the two platforms, while the other two sides served as arrival and departure tracks.
In the footage, a freight car was stationary on the left arrival and departure line, while the train depicted in the video maneuvered through the switch and halted on the right arrival and departure line.
At this point, many staff members were present on the right platform, transporting the processed phosphate to the platform in readiness for the empty carriages delivered by the train. As the train arrived, they prepared to load the empty cars.
However, both Charlie and Jack recognized the true Intention behind their actions. The loaders appeared strong and resembled martial artists. They were busy on the platform as the train entered, suggesting their primary objective was to closely monitor the train’s arrival to thwart any potential attacks.
Once the train in the video stopped, it uncoupled and changed direction before collecting the loaded cars from the other side for the departure line. The entire process was completed swiftly, and nearly a hundred staff members were constantly present on both sides of Duke Mining’s platform.
Afterward, the front of the train redirected via the main line, and after waiting for about ten minutes, it departed from the factory.
Upon finishing the video, Charlie could not suppress a sigh, “This Duke Mining facility is now nearly impenetrable, especially the core factory area, which resembles a secure prison. With such an exposed buffer zone outside, sneaking in undetected would be quite difficult. Our only opportunity might be the train.”
Jack nodded, asking the driver a few follow-up questions before relaying to Charlie, “The driver mentioned that Duke Mining’s heavy security measures stem from numerous serious incidents over the past few years. There was a case where someone infiltrated the factory, killed two of their financial staff, and made off with millions. Another individual managed to sneak in and steal precision equipment worth millions, with thefts of phosphoric acid also being common. Many of these incidents remained unsolved, leading Duke Mining to enhance their own security due to dissatisfaction with local police responses.”
Charlie chuckled lightly, saying, “It sounds like a self-inflicted predicament. Overzealous reinforcement can raise suspicions, but by orchestrating a few serious incidents beforehand, they can make their security enhancements appear reasonable and justifiable.”
“Indeed,” Jack agreed, “I think they’re inviting trouble.”
He then continued, “Mr. Wade, this place is already fortified, and with the upcoming external defenses and advanced equipment, gaining entry will become incredibly difficult.”
Charlie stroked his chin in thought and remarked, “Time is of the essence, we need to infiltrate before they implement their new technology.”
He then pointed to the Duke Mining personnel working on the platform and asked, “Inspector Lee, I need a set of work clothes identical to theirs. Is there a way to procure those? Additionally, we need a strategy to delay the delivery schedule of their goods tomorrow, ideally until evening. That way, I can enter with the delivery train.”
Upon hearing that Charlie wanted identical work attire, Jack quickly inquired, “Mr. Wade, do you plan on hiding in the truck compartment to gain access?”
“Yes,” Charlie affirmed. “I will follow the fully loaded train Inside. Even if they employ thermal imaging or life detection systems, the metal carriages and cargo will obscure me. As long as the doors remain sealed and no one enters, they shouldn’t detect my presence…”

Jack felt reassured by this and stated, “If Mr. Wade is confident, I will assist in any way I can.”
