Upon hearing this, Charlie disregarded his pounding headache and turned his gaze towards the aurora.
The aurora, which initially soared vertically between the sky and the earth like a wave, suddenly appeared to be influenced by an unseen force, twisting in a spiral motion like a whirlpool. What had once been a scattered display now seemed fragmented into tiny particles, as countless points of light began to slowly rotate in the air.
Charlie was taken aback. Maria, standing nearby, exclaimed, “Why does this aurora suddenly resemble swarms of fireflies?”
Charlie concurred, saying, “Miss Clark’s description is quite fitting. What was once a vast expanse now resembles numerous fireflies. Those ‘fireflies’ appear to be dispersing and revolving around a central point. I truly don’t understand why this is happening…”
Maria responded gravely, “They may look like fireflies, but they are not. This aurora is akin to waves. While waves are formed from countless water droplets, it’s impossible for those droplets to disregard the laws of physics governing waves. This seems a bit strange…”

Soon after, the flickering lights shifted, and moments later, a new gesture took shape.
Charlie turned to Maria and asked, “Miss Clark, did you just see those gestures?”
