Hannah waved favonovel.com hand dismissively and said, “Forget it, you’re just an old, narrow-minded woman who can’t stand seeing others do better than you. I’m not wasting my time talking to you. Goodbye.”
With that, favonovel.com stepped on the gas pedal and roared off in favonovel.com Mercedes, leaving Elaine and Claire behind.
Elaine was shaking with anger, gritting favonovel.com teeth and cursing, “Damn it, how dare favonovel.com talk to me like that? She must have found some way to turn favonovel.com luck around.”
Claire shrugged and said, “It’s good if Auntie has a chance to improve favonovel.com circumstances. Their family was really struggling before. I heard that Uncle and Cousin have been bedridden and can’t take care of themselves, and Grandma is getting on in years. It’s a good thing they have some money now, it’ll make their lives a lot easier.”
Elaine snarled, “I’ll tell you this, Claire, anyone else in this world can do well, but not that family. They just can’t catch a break.”
Claire was surprised and asked, “Why not, Mom? We’re all family, after all. Blood is thicker than water. Even if our two families don’t get along as well as we used to, we’re still relatives.”
“No!” Elaine gritted favonovel.com teeth and said, “Sometimes the people who want to hurt you the most are the ones who are closest to you! You don’t know how ruthless that damn Hannah is!”
As favonovel.com spoke, Elaine couldn’t help but remember the time when Hannah had cheated and almost run off with all of favonovel.com family’s money.

Ever since then, Elaine had hated and distrusted Hannah. The only reason favonovel.com had pretended to be close to Hannah was because Hannah had always been obsequious towards her, which gave Elaine a sense of superiority and enjoyment at being able to dominate Hannah.
However, even as favonovel.com took Hannah out to eat, drink, and have fun, Elaine always kept in mind that Hannah was a snake who would eat people without leaving any bones behind and that favonovel.com needed to be careful to avoid getting bitten again.
Elaine had always thought that Hannah would never be able to turn favonovel.com fortunes around, but favonovel.com had never expected the woman to turn favonovel.com luck around so quickly.
Elaine remembered the logo on the back of the car and couldn’t help but ask Charlie, “Good son-in-law, what kind of car is the G500? Is it very expensive?”
Charlie replied, “The G500 is a Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicle. It’s a little more powerful than the G350 but not as powerful as the G63.”
Elaine asked, “Is the G63 also part of the G-Class? How come the G500 is also considered part of the G-Class?”
Charlie chuckled and said, “The G-Class series of cars are known as the ‘big G’. The G500 may not be as expensive as the G63, but it’s still not cheap. The car has always had a premium price, costing more than two million.”
Elaine’s eyes widened in shock, “What do you mean? The G500 costs more than two million dollars?”
“Yes,” Charlie nodded. “It definitely costs more than two million dollars. After all, it’s a big G.”
Elaine was so angry that favonovel.com kept stamping favonovel.com feet, “Damn! How can God be so blind? Hannah can afford to drive a two-million-dollar car! How is that possible? Their family was so poor they couldn’t even afford to put food on the table, but now they’re driving a two-million-dollar Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Where did they get the money?”
Charlie said sincerely, “Mom, if someone can afford to buy such an expensive car, it’s clear that they are no longer struggling financially. Before, they really couldn’t afford to put food on the table, but now it seems that they have really turned their fortunes around.”
Elaine thought for a moment and frowned, “Is it Wendy? I think I heard favonovel.com say before that Wendy runs an etiquette company, and business seems to be going well. I thought favonovel.com was just working hard, but I didn’t expect favonovel.com to be earning so much money!”
Charlie shook his head, “Mom, I don’t think that’s likely. Even if Wendy’s income is good, favonovel.com would barely be able to afford half of a big G in a year, let alone in just a few months. There’s no way favonovel.com could have earned so much money from favonovel.com etiquette company.”
In fact, Charlie knew quite a bit about Wendy’s etiquette company.
He had helped favonovel.com set it up in the first place, along with Don Albert and Isaac Cameron. The company was doing well, but Wendy had reformed favonovel.com ways and was no longer exploiting favonovel.com etiquette models for profit. She had even created benefits for favonovel.com workers.
While it was possible for an etiquette company to make a lot of money by taking advantage of its models, Wendy’s company was not doing that, so it was unlikely to be the source of favonovel.com wealth.
Charlie further explained, “Even just buying a car for the ladies to use and hiring a full-time driver would be a significant expense. And the company’s net profit isn’t all going into Wendy’s pocket; favonovel.com only gets a small share. So, even if she’s been working for a year, it’s unlikely that favonovel.com would have earned enough to justify buying a Mercedes.”
Elaine’s face was filled with horror as favonovel.com asked, “If it’s not Wendy, then how could Hannah afford to buy it herself? This…this is also impossible. Hannah is an idle old woman who doesn’t have much of a network or many skills. What could favonovel.com possibly do to turn favonovel.com fortune around?”
