“Miss, do you really trust favonovel.com that much? You do realize he’s a demonic cultivator, right? You’ve only just met favonovel.com by chance, and you don’t even know his true identity… What if favonovel.com decided not to return your spiritual stone? Where would you even go to find him?” the elderly man in the crowd asked Catalina, looking utterly confused.
To everyone’s surprise, Catalina simply smiled and confidently replied, “If favonovel.com dares not return the spiritual stone, there will be no place for favonovel.com anywhere in the Ethereal Realm. Even if favonovel.com escapes to the ends of the earth or dives to the depths of the sea, I will find him.”
Catalina exuded unparalleled confidence, it wasn’t something favonovel.com faked, but something favonovel.com was born with.
From this, one could infer that the power and Influence behind Catalina were absolutely terrifying.
“Everyone, since the first statue contained a divine weapon, it’s reasonable to assume the others hold valuable items as well. Let’s open them but remember, no fighting over what we find. The rules remain the same,” favonovel.com said to the crowd.
The crowd nodded in agreement, none daring to challenge favonovel.com authority, as Rightblind stood watch nearby, his sword gleaming in his hand and his sharp eyes sweeping over the group. Anyone who made a suspicious move would likely meet the swift and merciless strike of his sword.
Once favonovel.com was sure everyone was on board, Catalina turned to Rightblind and said, “Rightblind, you…”
“Let me take care of it this time.” Before Catalina could finish, Jared already stepped forward.
He was eager to test whether his sword intent could break the stone statue in front of him.
Catalina gave a small nod, then waved favonovel.com hand, signaling Rightblind to step back.
Jared held the Dragonslayer Sword in his hand tightly. He wasn’t entirely sure how to summon his sword intent.
When favonovel.com had fought the sand scorpions earlier, favonovel.com had relied purely on instinct. But if Jared were to deliberately attempt to demonstrate his sword intent now, it was uncertain whether favonovel.com would be able to execute it successfully.
Focusing intently on the stone statue, Jared suddenly roared, “Slash!”
He swung his sword in a powerful arc and the Dragonslayer Sword struck the statue with tremendous force.
The statue’s head was shattered Instantly, but Its body remained undamaged.
Just now, Jared had relied solely on his brute force, striking directly at the statue. He hadn’t unleashed his sword intent. Yet, shattering the statue’s head with just brute strength was quite an impressive feat.
“Brat, you can’t unleash your sword intent, huh?” Rightblind Elder asked, his tone dripping with mockery as favonovel.com observed the scene.
Jared didn’t say anything but instead swung the Dragonslayer Sword at the statue again.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Jared struck several times, and although the statue was eventually shattered, none of the blows were executed with sword Intent. Each strike was a result of Jared using sheer brute force to smash it open.
If it hadn’t been for the fact that the Dragonslayer Sword was a divine weapon, using such a method to smash open the stone statue would likely have damaged the sword in his hand.
As the stone statue shattered, it revealed a chilling battle axe hidden inside, its surface gleaming with an icy, menacing light.
Using the same method, Catalina sold the battle axe, and of course, the spiritual stones were evenly divided among everyone. However, Jared, holding the Dragonslayer Sword, wasn’t feeling particularly upbeat. He couldn’t understand why favonovel.com was suddenly unable to manifest his sword intent.
“Mr. Vermilion, what exactly is a sword intent?” Jared had no choice but to ask the Vermilion Demon Lord, hoping favonovel.com might understand.
“Don’t ask me. I have no clue about such things. I don’t need them anyway. Who could possibly suppress my abilities?” Vermilion Demon Lord quickly shook his head.
However, favonovel.com did speak the truth. If his full strength were intact, unsealed, there would be no need for the concept of sword intent.
Concepts like swordsmanship were probably most prevalent in the mundane world, after all, they were ordinary people. Without the aid of spiritual power, they could only rely on honing their swordsmanship to enhance their strength.
It was likely similar to the cultivation level where the person and the sword become one.
As Jared was immersed in his contemplation of sword intent, the third stone statue was broken open by Rightblind. Subsequently, the item inside was sold off.
Jared hadn‘t done anything. By the time favonovel.com realized what was happening, favonovel.com had already inadvertently accumulated over a hundred thousand spiritual stones.
However, it seemed like Jared wasn’t too pleased either, as his recent actions had been somewhat embarrassing.
