“This matter must be kept confidential and not spread around, or it will easily cause panic,” Wyatt said after a moment.
If the news of the spirit ship’s imminent collapse were to leak, it would certainly panic many of the alchemists.
There would be nowhere to land in this vast sea, and they might even be attacked by demon beasts.
“Okay, I won’t say anything,” Carlo agreed.
“It’s impossible to hide this. Concealing it would only cause greater panic, and it’s also impossible to keep it from everyone. We need to think of a solution together. We have to go through difficulties together” Jared told them.
He disagreed to hide the truth for everyone. It was vital to be honest with them.
Wyatt understood Jared’s point and did not argue further. After all, they all depended on Jared to get through the storm.
Jared and the others returned to the deck. He addressed everyone, “Everyone, our spirit ship is damaged and probably won’t last much longer, so we need to be mentally prepared.”
“What? The spirit ship is damaged? If it sinks, what will happen to us? We can’t fly indefinitely.”
“The nearest mainland is a few thousand kilometers away. We can’t possibly fly that far.”
“There are many demon beasts in the water. Are we all going to perish here?”
“Just when we’ve gathered so many beast cores and magical items, we might end up dying here!”
Pessimism spread among the group. Without the spirit ship, most alchemists would be unable to return to Epea.
“Mr. Chance, isn’t there an island nearby? If we find the island before the spirit ship sinks, we’ll be safe,” Hartwin suggested.
“Yes, that’s what I was thinking. However, we don’t know the exact location or distance of the island, so finding it won’t be easy,” Jared replied.
He knew they should find the island first. Despite knowing there should be an island nearby, they didn’t know its precise location. Finding a small island in the vast sea was like searching for a needle in a haystack.
“Let’s first break out of the storm and then discuss searching for the island. If the spirit ship sinks, how will we all escape the storm?” Hartwin advised.
Even though Jared had the Stillwind Orb, it couldn’t protect such a large area if the alchemists and the Duad Formation Sect members all had to fly. They needed to escape the edge of the storm while the spirit ship was still afloat.
“I agree. Everyone needs to be prepared. If the spirit ship collapses while we’re escaping the storm, we must move as quickly as possible,” Jared instructed the group.
He wanted to inform everyone to ensure they were prepared.
If they didn’t know about the impending collapse, a sudden breakdown could cause panic and likely result in many deaths.
Upon hearing Jared, everyone became highly alert.
Jared instructed Carlo and the Duad Formation Sect members to use the array to reinforce the spirit ship as they began moving toward the edge of the storm.

Meanwhile, Thaddeus and his group, led by Sinclair, quickly reached a small island.
The island was picturesque and had a very beautiful environment. The alchemists eagerly disembarked, their faces filled with excitement.
“This kind of remote island must have many treasures,” Ernesto said excitedly.
Thaddeus also smiled, taking in the surroundings. However, his smile suddenly froze, and a look of concern appeared in his eyes.
“President Surrey, what’s wrong?” Ernesto asked.
