Jared, along with Viola and Sigurd, jumped off the spirit ship and looked at the dense cluster of sea beast corpses on the sea surface. Amidst the storm’s hurricane, the spiritual energy was chaotic, and there were even flashes of starlight.
“Mr. Chance, what are those starry lights in the hurricane?” Sigurd asked.
By all accounts, there shouldn’t be any light in a hurricane!
“They are likely the light emitted by some spiritual stones or magical items. In this vast sea, anything could exist. Let’s go take a look. There might be something useful,” Jared said.
With the Stillwind Orb in his possession, entering the hurricane was not a problem for Jared. The whole spirit ship was protected, so the Stillwind Orb could easily shield the three of them.
Right then, Wyatt approached and asked, “Mr. Chance, can I come with you?”
He had noticed that Jared intended to enter the hurricane, and while other cultivators couldn’t, Jared could, thanks to the Stillwind Orb.
“President Chance, of course,” Jared agreed readily.
The group slowly approached the edge of the hurricane. As they entered, they noticed many spiritual stones floating in mid-air.
“What kind of spiritual stones are these? They emit such dazzling light,” Sigurd asked curiously.
“Goldforge stones! These are goldforge stones! They are worth a fortune,” Wyatt exclaimed excitedly.
“What are goldforge stones?” Jared asked.
Wyatt immediately explained, “Mr. Chance, goldforge stones are extremely rare spiritual stones. Not only can they enhance one’s cultivation, but they are especially helpful for metal nascence cultivators. Such stones are very scarce in the five regions of the Ethereal Realm. I didn’t expect to find so many here in the sea.”
Jared was pleased to learn that they could greatly aid his understanding of the metal nascence. With a wave of his hand, a goldforge stone appeared in his palm.
Since Jared had recently grasped the metal nascence, these stones would greatly enhance his nascence power.
“Let’s collect them, but don’t stray too far from me. Otherwise, the Stillwind Orb won’t be effective,” Jared instructed.
Viola and the others nodded and began collecting the goldforge stones in the hurricane.
Meanwhile, other alchemists were excitedly harvesting beast cores from the demon beasts. There were also some scattered spiritual stones and treasures on the sea surface.
Outside the storm, Thaddeus and the others watched as Jared and his group were pulled into the massive storm, and they all smiled.
“Good, being caught in such a huge storm means certain death. Once the storm stops, we’ll collect Jared’s corpse and take it to the Demon Seal Alliance for a reward,” Ernesto said with a sigh of relief.
“This storm will take weeks to end,” Sinclair added.
Ernesto frowned upon hearing this. “What should we do? Are we really going to wait on the spirit ship for half a month? That would be unbearable.”
Thaddeus also frowned, thinking about the effort they had put in. If they couldn’t find Jared’s body, they would miss out on the hundred-year offering from Demon Seal Alliance. It would be a waste of time!
Drifting on this vast sea for half a month could drive people mad.
“President Surrey, Mr. Boucher, there is a small island beyond this stormy sea. The island has beautiful scenery and plenty of spiritual stones and mystical herbs. We can temporarily rest there until the storm subsides and then return to search for Jared’s body,” Sinclair suggested.
“There’s an island here?” Thaddeus was astonished.
They had traveled a few thousand kilometers away from Epea and hadn’t seen anything in the vast sea. Now that Sinclair mentioned an island, Thaddeus was naturally surprised.
