Upon hearing that, Jared sighed helplessly. “Mom, I’ve been busy the entire day and haven’t even eaten anything. Could you at least let me have some food first? Otherwise, how would I have the energy?”
The next second, Cecilia strode into the room with a sumptuous dinner spread.
