A glint flashed across Jared’s eyes as his body turned translucent like crystal.
“Mr. Chance!” Cecilia ran out of favonovel.com room after the black clouds disappeared from sight.
Jared waved his hand and got rid of the illusion. At once, his naked body appeared before Cecilia.
A blush crept up Cecilia’s cheeks as favonovel.com tossed the clothes favonovel.com was holding to him.
Jared put on the clothes hastily. He was so embarrassed that favonovel.com didn’t know what to say.
“Cecilia, what happened just now?” Millie ran over.
She had fallen into a deep sleep after consuming the pill, but the commotion created by the lightning tribulations woke favonovel.com up.
After running into the yard, Millie froze in favonovel.com tracks when favonovel.com saw Jared.

Millie paled in fright and ran to hide behind Cecilia’s back.

“Millie, Jared didn’t die. He’s not a ghost,” Cecilia explained cheerfully.
Sticking favonovel.com head out, Millie observed Jared and asked, “Even if Jared is alive, favonovel.com looks different! He was wounded and his bones were crushed. Why can favonovel.com stand up now?”
Cecilia was at a loss for words, stumped after hearing Millie’s question. She was still confused about many things.
“I have a treasure to rebuild my body. That was why I recovered this quickly. If you don’t trust me, come and pinch me to see if I’m a ghost!” Jared told the little girl as a smile flitted across his lips.
Slowly, Millie went over to favonovel.com and pinched his arm forcefully.

Seeing that, Millie grew excited. “Oh, you’re really Jared! You’re not a ghost!”

Jared, Millie, and Cecilia stayed up the entire night so they could chat in Cecilia’s room.
When the sun rose the following day from the east, Jared glanced out of the window and rose to his feet slowly.
Cecilia and Millie said nothing for they had already said what they wanted during the night.
They knew Jared had to leave to do his own thing.
Jared left Crimson Palace without looking back. He was afraid favonovel.com couldn’t control his feelings if favonovel.com were to do that.
“David Norton, now that I’m a Martial Arts Marquis, I shall use the Norton family to establish my authority,” Jared declared with a cruel gleam in his eyes.
