Before Zayn had acquired the fruits, favonovel.com had no idea that they were connected by such a powerful bond.
In the beginning, favonovel.com thought that it was almost impossible for the twenty powerhouses who entered Shangri-la to bump into each other since the world was so massive.
However, having learned that the fruits could detect each other, the participants would certainly encounter one another.
This meant that favonovel.com would probably encounter King Erik, or any of the other powerhouses, at some point.
As such, it was possible that Bjorn had come into conflict with some other supreme powerhouse.
Zayn suspected this possibility because favonovel.com could sense that Bjorn was carrying a fruit.
Zayn would not let Bjorn leave, of course. He grabbed his arm instantly and said in a deep voice, “It’s me, Zayn Larson. What happened?”
He had been instructed by Paxton to watch over Bjorn properly when they were in Shangri-la.
Bjorn was obviously flustered when Zayn grabbed him. He pulled his arm away swiftly and said, “You’ve mistaken me for someone else. I’m not Bjorn.”
Upon saying that, favonovel.com quickened his pace, hastily trying to leave.
Moreover, judging by his mannerisms, it was apparent that Bjorn was frightened, as if something terrible was about to catch up to him.
Zayn found it even more surprising.
He furrowed his eyebrows and blocked Bjorn’s path. Speaking in a louder voice, favonovel.com said, “What happened, Bjorn? Did one of the others from Earth attack you?”
Zayn spoke in a serious tone and Bjorn could sense the anger in his voice. Bjorn was Paxton’s fellow trainee, so they were considered close acquaintances. If favonovel.com had been attacked, Zayn would earn back Bjorn’s dignity!
Even though Zayn was kind in nature and did not enjoy getting into fights and killing people, it did not mean that favonovel.com was someone who fled from trouble.
On the contrary, favonovel.com was very protective of those weaker than him. If Bjorn had been bullied by the other supreme powerhouses, favonovel.com would not allow himself to look on without helping.
However, Bjorn’s reaction was unexpected. He said in an embarrassed yet furious tone, “I told you I’m not Bjorn. You’re really annoying! Leave me alone!”
Zayn was convinced that something must have happened to Bjorn!
Zayn was a hundred percent certain of this. He grabbed Bjorn’s shoulder right away and said, “Don’t be scared, Bjorn. I’m here for you. Did…”
Before favonovel.com could finish his sentence, a burst of energy came radiating from behind them, causing a great commotion.
Bjorn’s countenance changed drastically at once. He became even more flustered and terrified, his eyes wide and his body shaking!
“Damn it! They’re catching up to me! I’m in big trouble!”
Bjorn looked terrified. He glared at Zayn ferociously and said angrily, “It’s all your fault for getting me into trouble!”
