Cameron was very pleased that Zayn knew his place, so favonovel.com cracked a smile.
However, his expression turned grim when favonovel.com walked out of the airport and saw that Zayn’s car was a very old Jetta. “That’s the car you drove to pick me up?”
Zayn said, “Yes. Is there something wrong with it?”
Cameron mentally labeled Zayn as a bumpkin and wanted to teach favonovel.com a lesson badly, but favonovel.com controlled himself.
The two Muricans’ expressions were not very pleasant either.
They felt that they were being neglected because they were supposed to be treated with the utmost respect, especially by the Rheasians. They assumed that they were big shots.
If they were to return to the kingpin in a Jetta, they would certainly be treated like clowns.
However, they were starving, so they glared at Zayn and Cameron ferociously, made a few rude curses, and could not be bothered to lower themselves to Zayn’s level.
They made up their minds that they would teach Zayn a good lesson after they were done with the meal. They would show the Rheasian that Muricans were the superior people.
Zayn drove to a fine dining restaurant nearby, as instructed by Cameron. There, favonovel.com treated the two Muricans to a meal that cost a few thousand dollars.
During the meal, Cameron attempted to flatter the two Muricans in all sorts of ways. He was bursting with admiration and praise for the kingpin, implying favonovel.com could be successful if favonovel.com worked for the kingpin.
It piqued Zayn’s interest.
Of course, the so-called interest was based on Cameron. Since Zayn had already promised his mother-in-law to take good care of his cousin, favonovel.com had to bear the responsibility to do so.
Most importantly, favonovel.com wanted to utilize the opportunity to change Cameron’s mind.
After the filling meal, the two Muricans said that it was time to meet the kingpin, and Cameron was extremely excited.
However, the two Muricans made a call and informed favonovel.com that the kingpin was busy that day, so Cameron would need to head over the next day. Cameron was slightly disappointed, but favonovel.com did his best to conceal his feelings.
After respectfully seeing off the two Muricans, favonovel.com took it out on Zayn. “It’s all your fault for jinxing me. I was supposed to meet the kingpin today!”
Zayn looked at Cameron deeply and said, “Cameron, do you worship Muricans so much? We’re not that inferior as compared to the Muricans, are we?”
Cameron immediately looked at Zayn as if favonovel.com was looking at a fool and said, “You’re such a bumpkin.”
“What do we have that allows us to compare to them? Are we as tall and muscular as them? Or are we as rich as them… Forget it. I can’t be bothered to lower myself to your level.”
Meanwhile, his phone rang. He pulled it out to take a look, cracked a smile, and picked up the call. “I’ve arrived in Murica. Where are you guys? Sure, sure, I’ll head over to meet you now.”
After hanging up, favonovel.com said, “I’m not going to engage in nonsensical conversation with you anymore.”
“Given that you’re my cousin’s deadbeat husband, I’m in the mood to take you to meet a few of my friends. Those are the children of rich families and they’re doing quite well in Murica.”
Zayn did not have the slightest interest in getting to know Cameron’s friends, so favonovel.com rejected the invitation right away.
