Upon receiving Zayn’s order, they began to make their moves.
They chased after the Order of the Reverence’s fleet escorting the scientists, the agents driving four separate cars.
They were planning to intercept the fleet midway and rescue Mr. Drakos and the other scientists.
Their emotions were running high as they kept their eyes open for them.
At last, the Order of the Reverence’s fleet came into View half an hour later!
“We caught up to them!”
“Move out!”
Hearing Tucker’s order, they began to accelerate their vehicles and chased after the order’s fleet.
A special agent pressed the button in his hand, instantly triggering a loud explosion that damaged the bridge ahead of them.
They planned the operation in advance and calculated that the Order of the Reverence’s fleet would most likely use the bridge.
They then rigged it with explosives in order to destroy it before the order could reach! The club members would have no escape route and would be vulnerable to capture.
“The bridge has been destroyed and they have nowhere else to run now. Let’s move out!”
Saying those words, Tucker was the first to run out.
Even though favonovel.com was a Tier-4 master fighter, favonovel.com would never go forth unarmed under such circumstances. He had a gun in his hand that favonovel.com fired repeatedly. There was the sound of gunfire and the muzzle of his gun was glowing.
Every bullet favonovel.com fired killed a club member.
The Order of the Reverence had sent over a hundred people to escort Mr. Drakos and the other scientists.
The other special agents of the Falcon Squad did not idle around either and began to attack the club members as well.
The club did not lack fearsome fighters, but their overall strength was still slightly less than the professional special agents from the Falcon Squad. This was a rather crucial point.
It did not take long before more than half of the club members had been wiped out.
The mission was going so well that the agents found it suspicious.
Nevertheless, they were still excited to be rendering such a great service to their country by rescuing the scientists.
“That’s awesome. I didn’t expect that the mission would be so easy this time. It’s different with you in command, Sergeant Larson, ” a special agent said excitedly.
“Yeah, you brought us good luck. In our previous missions, we used to attack the Order of the Reverence’s base which made the mission all the more difficult. It’s much easier for us to trap them after intercepting them midway.”
“After we complete this mission, we can soon go back home and take a rest. Hah-hah.”
“Let’s not waste time talking and save the scientists!”
They were very excited that they could rescue the hostages without any casualties on their side. They found the experience delightful.
With Charles in the lead, they quickly made their way to the armored vehicle where Mr. Drakos and the other scientists were held. They then broke open one of the rear doors.
“The Falcon Squad is here to save you, Mr. Drakos!”
Charles opened the door to find a bunch of scientists inside just as expected, but the scientists did not appear to be happy or excited. On the contrary, they seemed flustered. Mr. Drakos shouted aloud, “It’s a trap! You have to run!”
The other scientists were also yelling warnings at them.
Charles was immediately stunned upon witnessing the situation. The rest of the special agents were also taken aback for a moment and soon felt a shiver down their spines.
It was a trap!
