There were more than ten wolves in the pack, and they were slowly approaching the group from the front. They were so large that even in the bright daylight and the dim forest, one could see the killer instinct in their ice-cold eyes.

The other members could not bear to blame the leader after hearing his apology because they had agreed to join the expedition. They were a bunch of intrepid young men who came from rather wealthy backgrounds, so they did not need to work hard to earn a living.
Their biggest joy was searching for adventure, and that was why they went on an expedition to Pineforest together. They had never expected to encounter wolf packs…
They held up their crossbows, trying to aim at the wolves, but their trembling hands made it difficult.

His voice exploded like a clap of thunder. It made the wolves come to a halt for a moment. They then let out enraged growls and howled loudly.
It was apparent that they were provoked by Zayn’s actions and sped up their movements to surround them.
