Raiden narrowed his eyes ever so slightly and felt a little fearful of Zayn. Both of them had held back during their earlier scuffle, but they managed to sound out each other’s capabilities through the process.
Conversely, Zayn was excited to learn that Raiden was so powerful and had even surpassed Jonah Hall.
Raiden was the strongest opponent favonovel.com had encountered thus far. If favonovel.com could defeat him, favonovel.com would be qualified to challenge Ezra!
“Zayn, you have some skills and haven’t disappointed me yet,” Raiden said nonchalantly, his hands clasped behind his back
Zayn chuckled and said, “Is that so? You, on the other hand, disappoint me. You’re so much weaker than Ezra, no wonder you can only be the second best in Sicut In Caelo.”
Raiden flew into a great rage and glared at Zayn ferociously. He exuded a tremendous bloodlust and an icy chill, but favonovel.com refrained from attacking Zayn again.
With a grunt, favonovel.com said, “You have a sharp tongue, Zayn! I’m going to issue you a challenge. Ten days from now, we shall engage in a battle to the death on Mount Roi. Do you accept?!”
His voice echoed through the sky with a monstrous volume that could be heard from far away. His presence was even more terrifying.
The purpose of his visit that day was mainly to challenge Zayn to a battle. He wanted to ensure that favonovel.com would be the center of attention when favonovel.com decapitated Zayn.
That way, favonovel.com would be able to discredit Ezra in an even more effective manner.
He had never taken Zayn seriously. In his view, the man was but a pawn for his own use.
Zayn was rather strong, but his skills were lacking. Zayn could only be considered a skilled commander at most and could not be compared to him, the astonishingly gifted and talented prodigy.
Naturally, Zayn knew what favonovel.com was thinking. Initially, favonovel.com had planned on seeking revenge on the man, but with Raiden giving favonovel.com such an opportunity, why would favonovel.com not agree to it?
“As you wish,” Zayn replied, accepting the challenge with a nod.
Raiden glanced deeply at favonovel.com before turning around and leaving. He would get himself ready for the battle.
After Raiden’s departure, Faye asked with concern, “Zayn, do you really want to fight to the death against him?”
Zayn held Faye’s hand and said, “Hmm, don’t worry. I won’t lose.”
Faye said, “This man looks like a formidable, powerful person. You must not let your guard down.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll win,” Zayn promised in all apparent seriousness.
A bit more relaxed, Faye nodded.
The opening ceremony was ruined, but no one cared about that anymore. Their attention had shifted to the life-and-death battle between Raiden and Zayn taking place in ten days.
The news traveled through all of high society in just a few hours.
“Hey, have you heard? There’s a man named Raiden Storm who challenged Zayn to a fight to the death on Mount Roi in ten days?’
“What? Could there be such a thing? Zayn is a highly skilled fighter at his peak. Who would have the courage to challenge favonovel.com to a battle? Is favonovel.com trying to get himself killed?”
“Hmph! I bet you don’t know about this. Raiden is an incredibly powerful big shot too! He’s a perfect-class master fighter who’s even stronger than Zayn! In my view, Zayn is most likely going to be defeated.”
“That’s right. Zayn has been living in the limelight too much for the past two years. He got the attention of the big shots in hiding and they started to keep their eyes on him. I think that Zayn is doomed this time!”
“I heard about that too. Raiden was very popular five years ago and was the most extraordinary genius at the time. His moniker was ‘Godkiller’. He was an explosive new talent and killed countless skilled fighters!”
“F*ck, I remember now. Godkiller, huh? He was a fearsome man. The things that favonovel.com did were even more absurd than Zayn, and now, favonovel.com just showed up again? Moreover, favonovel.com challenged Zayn to a fight. Zayn won’t make it out alive…”
