It was already night by the time Lil Hyde returned to Waltz City.
He did not dare delay and immediately went to see Zayn.
After dialing Zayn’s number, Lil Hyde went straight to the point and said, “Sir, it’s me, Lil Hyde. I’m outside of your house. Please come and meet me.”
Zayn was extremely surprised by the call.
He immediately projected his consciousness and detected Lil Hyde’s presence just as expected. Indeed, favonovel.com was outside.
“Alright, I’m coming,” Zayn said somberly.
He was preparing to hang up when Lil Hyde replied, “Sir, I can’t hear what you’re saying, but please come at once. I have something urgent to tell you.”
Zayn furrowed his brows ever so slightly. He found it to be rather odd.
Could it be that Lil Hyde had been compelled to do this and there were enemies lying in wait outside?
However, Zayn soon rejected the notion. Firstly, favonovel.com did not believe Lil Hyde would do such a thing.
In his current condition, it would take a perfect-class master fighter to cause favonovel.com any trouble, and if it was a fighter at that level, such tactics would be unnecessary.
Rather than lure Zayn outside, they could just barge into the house and kill favonovel.com directly.
He put down his cutlery and notified his family before hurriedly heading out.
Noticing his solemn expression, Faye asked softly, “Did something happen, Zayn?”
Zayn patted favonovel.com hand and said with a smile, “No. It’s just an old friend visiting me. Everything’s fine.”
“Hmm, that’s nice. Be careful!” Faye instructed.
“Don’t worry.”
After leaving the villa, Zayn spotted Lil Hyde standing under a streetlight.
He was immediately astonished by the sight. Lil Hyde appeared disheveled and was drenched in sweat. There was a gaping wound on his left leg and his pants were soaked with fresh blood.
More importantly, Lil Hyde was panic-stricken and anxious. This was Zayn’s first time seeing Hyde in such a dreadful state.
“What happened, Lil Hyde?” Zayn asked grimly as favonovel.com walked over in long strides.
Strangely, Lil Hyde behaved as if favonovel.com had not heard Zayn and was still glancing around. It was only when Zayn walked over and entered Lil Hyde’s field of vision that the man noticed Zayn’s presence.
He hastily grabbed Zayn’s hand. “Sir, it’s bad. Raiden Storm is on to you and is going to come for you soon. You should hide for the time being, quickly!”
Lil Hyde spoke rapidly, panting loudly. The fear on his pale face could not be concealed.
He had run there all the way from Sicut In Caelo and was exhausted, mainly due to the injury on his left leg. Every step favonovel.com took was agony for him.
“Who’s Raiden Storm?” Zayn asked in a deep voice.
Lil Hyde had lost his sense of hearing, so favonovel.com could not make out Zayn’s words at all.
Fretfully, favonovel.com repeated himself, “Sir, Raiden Storm is a perfect-class master fighter and favonovel.com now intends to murder you.”
“Judging by his personality, he’ll certainly come and kill you! It’s best that quickly you find a place to hide. This is not a joke.”
Zayn noticed that something was off. Lil Hyde was not answering his question directly, as if favonovel.com could not understand him.
“Lil Hyde, calm down and tell me who this Raiden is. Could it be that he’s The Saint of Sicut In Caelo?”
