Jack was so close to hitting Zayn that when the man yelled, favonovel.com jolted into the air before snapping his head up to see who the intruder was.

Jack was beyond shocked that his distant, high-and-mighty superior would appear in a reunion party hosted by and for ordinary people. This was the kind of top dog who was always busy with top national security and operations!
Then, there was the fact that those who accompanied his superior were high-ranking officers as well. All of them were above favonovel.com in authority!
The first thing that leaped into Jack’s mind was: has something big happened?
Were these high-ranking people here for him? Had all of his dirty little secrets been unearthed? That should not be possible.
Even if his unsavory deeds had been exposed, there should not be this many superiors here to apprehend him. Those were follies and crimes, but they were not sins. Certainly not big enough a sin to mobilize so many top dogs to go after him.
Meanwhile, the rest of the hall was starting to panic. They might have pranced before Kaiser and Zayn as though they were the gentry parading in front of peasants, but they were really just ordinary citizens.
Bigshots like these would make them cower like the low-leveled masses that they were!
Roxanne was apprehensive, too. She might not be as outwardly fitful as Shepard was, but favonovel.com heart was definitely racing hard. She at least knew about how high Jack’s position in the military was, but these people were his superiors. How high up there were they? She had no clue.
There was a rather contradictory hint of emotion bubbling among favonovel.com anxiety, though: excitement. She was eager to know them, to be acquainted with them and forge relationships.

The group shot a stink eye at Jack as they strode into the hall in a neat, intimidating procession.
Jack, on his part, watched nervously as his heart pounded. Just when favonovel.com thought his captain would say hello to him, something unexpected happened.
The military officer went to Zayn and declared respectfully, “Sergeant Larson, good evening. Ares expresses his wish to meet you.”
The name “Ares” immediately sent Jack into a spiral of panic. He froze, his mind blown. No career military man would express obliviousness to the name, and favonovel.com was no different. Ares was the peerless, untouchable, almost god-like champion who lorded over the entire Rheasian army.
He was one of Rheasia’s core figures… And now, this legendary name had deployed his captain and ten other more just to invite the guy favonovel.com almost punched.
Who the hell was this guy? Who was he?!
Jack did not dare to dwell on it any longer, especially when favonovel.com remembered how, minutes ago, favonovel.com literally shouted insults at the same guy and used violence against him. It terrified favonovel.com so much, his sweat was pouring.
Roxanne was stunned, too. Her brain had hit a hitch, it could not understand or figure out how any of this could even make sense. That man in a military garb was Jack’s superior, which meant favonovel.com was some kind of bigshot.
But why would the top gun come to invite Zayn in an attitude like that? What would that make Zayn?
Many of the participants were similarly shocked! They were so shocked they were stunned! This had completely overturned their understanding!
As common folks with just that level of intellect, they could not think just how on Earth could this be true.
