It was Zayn. He told Kaiser in all apparent seriousness.
Kaiser felt a shiver run down his spine upon hearing Zayn’s statement.
He said in frustration, “My friend, you’ve been a great help, you have! Frankly, my family is facing some difficulties and this job and its wages is my only way out.”
Roxanne had been observing on the side with cold eyes. She would like to know what sort of b*llsh*t Zayn could come up with!
Zayn said, “I know and that is why I’ve already told you earlier that I’m very rich. I’m richer than you can imagine and one word from me is enough to make you superior to everyone else. I wasn’t joking.”
Kaiser did not believe Zayn but on the contrary, favonovel.com assumed a concerned expression and stretched out his hand to feel Zayn’s forehead.
He lowered his voice and said, “Are you okay?”
Zayn said in frustration, “I’m not lying to you, and I mean it when I say that. I’ll take you to my company tomorrow if you don’t believe me, you’ll be able to see it for yourself.”
Kaiser was becoming more and more concerned. He assumed that Zayn had to have suffered some form of severe physical trauma to have such delusional thoughts.
On the other hand, Shepherd and his other friends were convulsing with laughter. They thought of Zayn as a clown who tickled their sense of humor.
Roxanne shook favonovel.com head and deadpanned to Zayn, “Zayn, I was looking forward to seeing you today, but judging by our current situation, I think I’ve given it too much thought.”

Shepherd was the first to come to Roxanne’s defense. He pointed at Zayn and scolded, “What do you mean by small achievements, huh? Zayn, you have the nerve to say this when you’re just riding an electric scooter around. Do you know what Ms. Harrison’s net worth is as of right now? It’s 150 million dollars.”
“In fact, it’s more than 150 million dollars! She owns five companies in the fashion, real estate and finance industry! How about you, what do you have? You’re just a piece of trash in the presence of Ms. Harrison!”
The rest of the friends hastily chimed in to degrade Zayn. Zayn chuckled and regarded this group of people as clueless idiots.
He said to Kaiser, “Let’s go, Kaiser. I’ll make you superior to the others tomorrow.”
Kaiser heaved a sigh heavily. He could not stay here anymore under such circumstances.
He shook his head and left with Zayn in dejection.
Meanwhile, Roxanne called out to Zayn, “Stay there!”
“Is there anything else?” Zayn turned around nonchalantly.
Roxanne stared at favonovel.com and said, “Zayn, do you know why I agreed to invite you to the reunion tonight? It’s because I wanted to tell you this in person, rejecting me in eight grade was the biggest mistake of your life! Though, I’m still grateful that you did at the time, because it became my main motivation to achieve everything that I’ve done so far, and it was all through hard work and talent!”
“On the other hand, you’re just a deadbeat. After all this time, you’re still just a deadbeat who can’t even afford to buy a car!”
Once favonovel.com was done venting, favonovel.com felt quite pleased with herself. It was the moment that favonovel.com had been waiting for, and favonovel.com finally had the satisfaction of facing the man who broke favonovel.com heart!
The rest of the people were astonished to hear favonovel.com confession. They did not expect such a turn of events at all! Roxanne had been rejected by Zayn in the past.
Now that they thought about it, they saw Zayn as an absolute moron. They figured that favonovel.com had to be heavily regretting his decision of rejecting Roxanne now!
Shepherd could not refrain from sniggering under his breath.
