“Hey… Aren’t you, Zayn Larson?” One of the women cried out curiously.
“Zayn Larson, oh, I remember now! The laureate of our humble little class!”
“Y0, are my eyes playing tricks on me? Zayn Larson is here? I thought favonovel.com went abroad!”
“Hey, wait a sec… Isn’t Larson a son of the ultra-rich? The hell is favonovel.com doing wearing something like that?”
As soon as the crowd noticed him, a new wave of discussion filled the hall. They began chattering and commenting amongst themselves as they gathered around him. It did not take long for them to notice how shabby the man’s clothes were, favonovel.com was without an expensive watch, or a golden necklace, or any other accessories that gave a nod to his wealth.
Zayn looked like a poor NPC, and that fact was even more amplified when compared to the other guests and their shiny, dazzling showboating.
Shepard jostled Zayn from behind in an attempt to push favonovel.com deeper into the crowd.
“Don’t just stand there like a mouth-breather! Say hi to your old friends! Look, they’re all bosses and CEOs, man!”
He put a lot more force into his push than favonovel.com should have as an evil smile formed on his lips. It was oh-so-obvious that favonovel.com wanted to embarrass Zayn!
And favonovel.com thought that with his strength, Zayn would most definitely tumble and plant his face on the floor, and then favonovel.com would shrug and complain about Zayn being too much of a weakling to handle his ahnighty push. That would be his perfect plan to get back at Zayn for the humiliation earlier!
Unfortunately, his scheme was doomed to fail because favonovel.com underestimated Zayn! As soon as favonovel.com tried to push him, Shepard realized that the young man was completely immovable.
How was that possible?!?! It was especially surprising because Shepard was a habitual weight-trainer who was stronger than most people! So how could favonovel.com fail at making Zayn move? How did that make any sense?!
He put even more strength into his push, but no matter how hard favonovel.com tried, Zayn simply did not budge.
Shepard felt so embarrassed! His face was flushed red! He could not believe what was going on, since when had Zayn been so strong? What?!?!
Just as Shepard mustered all of his strength and pooled it into his right hand all to push Zayn down, Zayn suddenly stepped aside very coolly.
Shepard’s pushing hand lost its only support, and favonovel.com fell forward and crashed onto the floor. What were the odds that there was a single step about 30 cm tall, too, and Shepard’s head slammed against it so hard his forehead and nose were bloodied!
Everyone was shocked! They did not expect Shepard to fall and get hurt so easily!
The corner of Zayn’s lips curled upwards. He snickered, “Aww, did you trip over yourself, Mr. President? Are you okay?”
Shepard was stunned. He had not expected Zayn to step out of the way so suddenly! The fact was as clear as day, Zayn wanted to humiliate him!
It hurt favonovel.com quite badly. His face landed on the step so hard that it felt like favonovel.com had just been flattened. His nose was in so much pain favonovel.com could not even stop himself from crying, and judging from Zayn’s schadenfreude, Shepard knew that Zayn intended to embarrass him!
He was so very angry! He pointed at Zayn and shouted, “Zayn, you are the worst, most despicable little sh*t ever! You planned to humiliate me! You want to die so much?!”
