His current heightened state granted Taio an immense speed boost. It was a shame that it meant so little to Zayn.
Hitting favonovel.com like a pang, Taio felt a sharp, nipping dread pervading his mind, and knew that Zayn had felled both Caspain and Christian. He was coming to get him.

He risked a glance behind him.
And his heart almost gave out right then and there, Zayn was already right behind him, his hand stretching towards his neck like a claw. It was as inevitable as Judgement Day; there was no escape for Taio now!
If favonovel.com so much as let Zayn close his fingers around his neck, Taio’s life would be over. The prospect of death was great enough that his fight-or-flight response kicked into overdrive, translating itself into more speed. He lurched away like a flying bullet.
Zayn let out a startled grunt. He had not expected Taio to reveal his hidden potential so unexpectedly. Perhaps favonovel.com had been underestimating favonovel.com a tiny bit.
But make no mistake, it really was just a tiny bit.
Seemingly evading Zayn’s capture, Taio decided that favonovel.com could let his guard down for a moment.
Though before his relief could even transmute into glee, favonovel.com heard Zayn’s voice whisper in his ear, “I’ll let you live if you can escape me again.”
“Aaaarrrghhhh!”
Taio was terrified. He could not hold back the sky-splitting howl that came out of his mouth as favonovel.com struggled to escape death’s clutches.
It did not last long, however, as his windpipe was being crushed by Zayn’s powerful hands.
Taio’s life flashed before his eyes, his life was in Zayn’s hands now. He sighed. He drawled exasperatedly, as if Taio had failed to entertain him, “So weak.”
Taio’s body was as still as a statue. He had never felt more helpless and scared. His body was suspended in midair, and his legs were dangling beneath favonovel.com limply. His mind was paralyzed with terror.
He screamed, “Have mercy, Sergeant Larson! I was just—”
Zayn hurled favonovel.com to the ground, creating a half-meter wide crater that housed Taio’s battered body in its center. His body had made a clear impression in the jaggy, defaced ground.
The agony was violent and punishing. He felt as though his bone structure had been dismantled, and that his organs had been rearranged. Blood was pooling out of his mouth. It was just excruciating.
The pain was so agonizing that Taio would rather be put out of his misery than endure another second of it.
“Huh, you’re harder to kill than I thought. Didn’t expect you to live after that attack,” Zayn commented, once again bemused.
Taio’s face was a jumbled mess of fear and regret. Why did favonovel.com offend someone so ridiculously powerful? It was as if Zayn was favored by the gods!
Every ounce of his belligerence had gone up in smoke. All that was left was pure, unadulterated fear, and the banal instinct to cling on to his life so that favonovel.com could live for another day, even if it meant offering his dignity in exchange.
“Don’t kill me! P-Please, I beg you… D-Don’t kill me!”
Zayn loomed over him. “I heard you wanted me dead,” favonovel.com intoned.
“Never! I’d never think of doing something like that, Sergeant Larson!” Taio cried out desperately.
