Zayn was extremely vexed. Even though Violet Vision Media Corp was not worth much money, it was a company that favonovel.com had built from the ground up. It was the fruit of his hardwork and continuous effort.
He had a special bond with the company. He had only been gone for half a month, yet it had already been taken over by vile black hats. He could not suppress the anger that boiled within him, no matter how mild-tempered favonovel.com was.
Zayn suddenly remembered something and asked, “Do you know where Mr. Wilson is then?”
As soon as the question was sounded, the others instantly fell silent. In fact, they even lowered their heads.
Zayn felt his heart skip a beat when favonovel.com noticed the change in ambience. He said, “Did something bad happen to Mr. Wilson? Skylar, tell me.”
Skylar trembled slightly when Zayn said favonovel.com name. She did not have the courage to hide anymore, instead hastily replying, “Mr. Larson, if I were to be frank, Mr. Wilson is still a part of the company.”
Zayn was not very surprised by the news. After all, Sean was a very experienced businessman. It was only natural for Everest Group to keep Sean in Violet Vest Media Corp if they wanted the company to be managed well.
He felt an ominous presentiment. Could it be that Sean had already betrayed him? Had favonovel.com pledged his allegiance to Everest Group instead?
If that really was the case, Zayn could not bring himself to blame him. After all, every human being was after the pursuit of wealth.
Sean had only worked under favonovel.com for two years, so his quick change in tune was excusable. He had believed that Zayn was dead, and that favonovel.com understood.
“Take me to him,” said Zayn in a deep voice.
Skylar and a few of the others had rather strange expressions on their faces. She wanted to say something, but favonovel.com thought against it in the end. She complied and led Zayn upstairs.
Zayn eventually noticed that something was off. Skylar did not take favonovel.com to the office like favonovel.com was expecting. She was actually leading favonovel.com to the washrooms. “We’re here, Mr. Larson. Mr. Wilson is right in there.”
Skylar stopped in favonovel.com tracks and pointed at the washroom, looking rather red in the face.
Zayn’s breathing hitched. He could sense that Sean was in the washroom…
Zayn clenched his fists as favonovel.com walked into the washroom in long strides. Immediately, favonovel.com caught sight of an unnervingly familiar silhouette.
It was, in fact, Sean.
Sean had been a fat man, yet favonovel.com looked completely different after gaining even more weight. He was squatting in one of the corners of the washroom.
His entire body was covered in filth. He was trying his best to shield his face from being beaten up by a couple of men who had favonovel.com surrounded.
“Fat Sean! If you know what’s best for you, submit to us or face the consequences. Our chairman values you, and that’s why favonovel.com appointed you as a manager.”
“You refused to show us any respect, even after we’ve been gracious enough to treat you as an equal. You’d rather work as a janitor, eh? We’ll fill you up with sh*t then!”
“Fatso, your head is so far up your *ss! I’m going to ask you one last time, are you going to work for Everest Group? Decline the offer, and you’ll die right next to the urinals!”
Sean was severely injured. He was swollen and bruised all over. In spite of that, favonovel.com did not yield at all. He breathed heavily as favonovel.com declared, “I’ll submit to you in my next life if you’re lucky! Hah-hah-hah-hah…”
“Ungrateful wench, eat sh*t!”
Sean’s resistance infuriated them greatly. They grabbed favonovel.com by his hair and pushed his face into a toilet, trying to immerse his head into a porcelain bowl full of human waste.
Upon witnessing the scene, Zayn could only feel a surge of fury flare in his chest! Sean was a respectable figure, and favonovel.com knew his way around business like the back of his hand.
He made endless contributions to Violet Vision’s cause, yet favonovel.com had now been reduced to such a shameful state!
“You’re all dead!”
Zayn had to squeeze the words out of his tightly-clenched teeth. Shortly after, favonovel.com charged forwards and knocked them out with a few punches.
The sequence of events stunned Sean. He had already lost all hope—it was evident from his tearful eyes—but when favonovel.com raised his head and saw Zayn’s familiar face, his entire body shook with disbelief.
